Dunseith Gardens and the SeaHorse

Dunseith Gardens and the SeaHorse

In y Wednesday Walk I mentioned I have driven past this Seahorse many a time always meaning to stop and get some photos of it, which I finally did recently

To be honest the photos of it are not great the light was not ideal, and I perhaps rushed it a bit as I had to get home soon after to get ready for an appointment I had that day

The Seahorse State is about 20 feet tall, from what I understand it used to be alongside a gift shop, that has since been demolished The land (and landmark) was donated to the town by a resident. Salty as the Seahorse is called was restored in 2000 the park includes a playground, gazebo and nature walk.

The gazebo is quite weather but still has a charm to it I think

I think the playground is off to the left in this next photo but I didn't head over that way

And more shots of the Seahorse, it has caught my eye so many times, I am glad to have finally got some shots of it
