The Value Of Commenting And How It Can Enhance The Ecosystem
We all know commenting (engagement) is important. For this reason, we should try to add to articles that we read.
In this video I discuss how commenting, in addition to leading to rewards, can add to the experience for others. Motivation and inspiration can come from others sharing their experience.

In the spirit of the video, I shall leave a comment! 😝
Personally, I think commenting may be more important than writing posts. Engagement goes a long way.
At a minimum people should comment on the comments on their posts. So many put up posts and you look in the comment section and they dont reply at all.

It’s really important as it’s part of the conversation and at the same time offers encouragement to the original author. Then later on once the post has gone quiet and someone else finds it, it adds to the value furthermore.
That is very true. I am going to start spending more time in some different articles that are older.
We need to do that to update the evergreen material.

That’s very much the all important keyword I think, “evergreen”
Commenting has its way of reflecting on how an individual feels about the author's points and views about a specific topic.
One comment breeds another interaction that is not noted in the post itself but serves as a solid point to help readers get the whole deal of the post.
Therefore adding their own experience or opinion to the conversation in the comments

It really does expand the idea of the article or video.
This is something that most overlook. We truly can have a variety of people "writing" the article when you combine the different inputs.
It can generate a lot of knowledge in terms of being a resource center for that particular topic.

Yes, it does, and that way we open more room for knowledgeable questions.
Questions that might be an answer to readers' curiosity or first-timer just getting started on the blockchain.

Questions are an overlooked tool on the platform and in the comment sections. We really need to focus upon that.
Perhaps it is time for a post about that...maybe this week.

I will be on the lookout for that.
There's also a great deal in asking the right questions.

I think the one knocking on the door is trying to get your attention.. :)
You nailed it with this one. The comment section feels so undervalued and underappreciated on Hive. In general. I'm glad you're still trying to motivate, inspire and encourage people to be active in terms of engagement. We need it, and we deserve it.

I am not following on this one.

7 minutes and 9 seconds into the video, it sounds like someone is knocking on the door. :D

Ah ok. LOL.
Yes it was interrupted but I was done anyway.

It was a smooth ending of the video. :)

Great you posted this @taskmaster4450le
Hope loads of others see it and think about it.
There is always valuable information in the comment section even treasures to be found.
It is up to us to keep sharing in ways that enhance what people are reading about.

Yes, let’s keep putting out information and spread the word.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My latest post is trying to get us something to push out there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Will have a look 😁

Oh yeah, good to see users are covering this topic of commenting.
More engagement on a website can ultimately make it rank better.

It will help as long as we are adding to the article and just not posting "nice comment" or abstract stuff that has little meaning to the article.
It is all about optimizing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol yeah obviously I am not talking of 'nice post' :D

Engagement is the key which is the main aspect of socializing especially commenting on other people's post to gain recognition as well which is also another way to grow in the blockchain.
It is necessary for things to grow. Perhaps people are starting to take an interest in it.

Check out the last post from @hivebuzz:
You’re absolutely right.
Also, in my own little experience, commenting has made me build relationships with lots of creators here on Hive. Which not only benefits the platform but also benefits me.
Now they always come back to my posts and vice versa.
It is amazing how it is a two way street. This is all going to work out well.

I believe so too
interaction is important since it allows us to exchange ideas and with it mutual growth through lived experiences.
Do you find you get more engagement with videos or text?
I find on text but that might be the order I release them. My most followed post each day is the article I post in the morning.
That is the longest one in terms of when I started it so my followers are use to the time.
But it is important for us to get comments going on videos also.

I know like a decade when I used to run my blog everything was transitioning to video. Text was hard to get people to pay attention to. But I find now that I usually wont even start a video. It just feels like a commitment. With text I can just jump around easier than a video if I'm at the fluffy parts. Video I'm stuck with.
Commenting can be quite amazing and fun. It's an interesting place and I check the comment sections while I have a bit more time available during the day. At the very least, people should be replying to comments left on their own posts.

Well said sir. Commenting and engaging must be increased as it is a social media platform, and Hive should be treated as other social media platform when it comes to engagement. But the pity is that more than 90% people join hive for money, they want money, that is really simple. So if somehow the authors generate some money for commenting, that can solve the problem a bit. For eg., Top comment will get a vote of 1 dollar. Something like that can solve the engaging problem halfway. This is my personal opinion.
Anyway, as I read and watch your content for a while, a funny question I am going to ask.
Were you in hurry as I have heard a 'knock knock' in the last moment of this video?😂
