Why The Everything App Actually Makes A Lot Of Sense

This has gotten a lot of discussion but it is something that I feel is vital to the future of social media.

The idea of the "Everything App" that Elon Musk espoused actually makes a great deal of sense. Of course, I have my reservations about a Web 2.0 platform filling that role. Nevertheless, the concept is sound and something that has been adopted to a degree for Leo.

Why is this important?

To me, it talks about mindset. When look at Leo, the concept of the Everything App means we can do it all. In other words, nothing is off the table. This platform should offer anything it can. all features are built in to become the straw that starts sucking out of the other milkshakes (for those who understand the Milkshake Theory).

One of the key limitations is the approach people take. When they try to figure out the niche, that is instantly creating barriers.

With Leo, we need to go in the opposite direction. To me, it is vital that all is on the table.

Elon's Vision

To be honest, other than what is written out there, I have no knowledge of the exact plan Elon is taking with Twitter (now X).

What I do know is that he is big on the merging of social media with finance. This is something that is clear by his filing of money transfer licenses. The advantage we have is that no licenses are required. The blockchain will handle all transactions that we desire. This is something that was in place since the genesis block.

In other words, Elon is trying to build something that is standard with a blockchain. The ability to transfer value already resides.

Personally, I believe he is getting a jump on his competition and the likes of Facebook and Google will be playing catch up. These entities are going to wake up one day and realize X is offering a great deal more than they are. This will likely go much further than payments. After all, why not spend a couple billion dollars on a mortgage origination company and integrate that in?

These are the shortcuts I would take if I was in his shoes.

Leo's Vision

Obviously, LEO is operating at a different level. However, we are fortunate in that we can ride the wave of technology that is being constructed within Web 3.0. It is something that the Web 2.0 world is stifled by. They have to play within the confines of the existing system.

At the moment, Leo is a nothing. We have a couple thousands MAUs. That is even less than a rounding error to the traditional platforms.

That does not mean, however, that impact cannot be made. It can be. We have the opportunity to keep expanding in ways that turn the numbers much bigger.

Unfortunately, there is no single solution that will solve the problem. This is going to be a grind. We are beholden to basic business building principles. There are no shortcuts that I can see.

What this does mean is that we can take the "all hands on deck approach". There are infinite directions people can go in. This is something not really offered in too many places. We are free to pursue whatever business concepts we desire. The best part is no approval is necessary.

Of course, this brings up another topic completely: are you a builder or not? Many will talk about how they are yet their actions prove the exact opposite.

Here is one clue: if you are doing what everyone else is doing, then you are doing it wrong. We know the results the masses get are for crap. Most are engage in financial slavery. They exchange time for money, the worst financial arrangement there is.

Hive offers opportunity. Leo is a microcosm of that. The Everything App is a mental picture I think everyone should carry with them. If there is something lacking, look to fill it.

Nothing should be eliminated. Imagination is a dead practice for most of society. They are so conditioned to simply to what everyone else is.

This is not how change occurs. If we simply approach Leo like the users of Twitter, guess what we will get? The answer should be obvious.

There is an old saying, "be the change you want to see". Would you like to see Leo as a raging success? If that is the case, what are you doing to get it there?

With the Everything App, all options are on the table. There is a decentralized database that is open to use.

What can you do to fill it?

The everything app is a great idea and will do well, this can be evidenced in how humans have evolved. We now like centralised services and shops. Shopping centres/malls now dominate. Service areas are all built close by, efficency is what we are built to want. Security will be something we lose out on but people are always willing to lose out on something to get what they want.

It is a mental construct to operate from. We are seeing more of our lives digitized so we might as well ride that wave.

I believe it's just the task everyone should join to make this platform a better place for the future, as the Leo team works hard to make everything for the benefits of users then I believe that we should go out of our leisure to onboard new users then mentor them to know more and how they can benefit from hive.
That's my view.

I would agree. All should be building on here. This is what is going to pull things forward.
