For an AI to be accurate with forecasts, it has to be fed a plethora of economic information. This is where things such as political forecasts can come from.

I know that current AIs are programmed to perform specific tasks the vast majority of the time.

But my fear is that when AI with its own consciousness begins to emerge. I can't say what direction this would take for us.

What is fed to AI is what it produces , so I agree with you because feeding the AI with enough information would also lead to greater efficiency of the AI itself
