LeoGlossary Is Vital To Leofinance

A lot of work went into LeoGlossary.

In short, this is going to be one of the most important features of the Leofinance ecosystem. A month ago I wrote Promoting Hive With A Billion Links. This is something that is coming to fruition as we see more added to the Hive ecosystem.

At the center of this is Leofinance. We have a lot taking place but the key is that everything on LeoGlossary is a Leofinance page. Hence, any clicks following those links end up on Leofinance.

We will explain in a moment why that is crucial.

Recently, we have a couple of applications that are helping to feed into this. These were developed by the CTP team and have a proven track record of driving traffic. The question is how much they reach outside of Hive and attract people.

Links For People To Follow

A lot of the discussion in past LeoGlossary posts centered around the search engine spiders. This was done in an effort to keep it on the site, bouncing around and recording everything as it went. It is one of the values of internal links.

Now, we are going to focus our efforts upon people doing the bouncing.

Here is the above linked post but on CTPTalk.

Take notice of the blue text. Most of them are links to LeoGlossary pages (Leofinance).

Next we have aother page that was submitted to CTPX, this time using the Leofinance Alpha UI.

The marking isn't as clear as on CTPTalk but you can see a number of words underlined. They are links to LeoGlossary, again just waiting to be clicked.

This is the importance of having links.

As a side note, obviously the Leofinance team should consider using the blue hyperlink text. This is known throughout the Internet as equating to links. Plus, as we can see, it stands out much better than underlining or even the orange.

Numbers Game

Ultimately, what we are dealing with is a numbers game.

Are any of these links going to drive a ton of traffic on their own? Of course not. However, if the team can get a fair bit of traffic going through, then the chances of people clicking increases.

It might take 10,000 links to get 100 clicks. We are dealing with microscopic numbers. Of course, the more content on CTPX with LeoGlossary links in them, the greater the success.

From what I could learn, it is not uncommon for sites like CTPX to have hundreds of thousands of users. It is known this is not high quality traffic. The success ratio is very low. That is why numbers are vital.

With LeoGlossary, we are now 8 months into the project. Over that time, we discussed it in detail, asking people to utilize the links in their content. This was all part of a long-term plan that was aligning with some of the ideas that were being pursued by the Leofinance team.

It is time we are starting to see this coming together.

LeoAds

Here is what was posted in an article earlier:

The new LeoAds program is one of the most highly requested aspects of the sooniverse... can you guess when it's coming?

soon.

Well, sooner than soon. VerySoon. We're prepping the release of our new Ad placements on the new UI and after that goes live and the UI goes into production mode, we're going to resume the LeoAds program where LEO autonomously is bought back and burned by a smart contract.

This tells us LeoAds is closer than most of us think. The idea here is that ad revenue is going to be used to buy $LEO off the open market. Here we can see the idea is to have an in-flow of money, in this instance Bitcoin, and have it used to create buy demand for $LEO.

A rather simple concept and one that will benefit every single person holding Leo Power.

Of course, with advertising, there are many variables. One that is vital is clicks. Without clicks, i.e. traffic, there is nothing.

Here is where LeoGlossary enters the picture.

The project is nearing 3,000 pages. That means we have more that people can land upon. In addition, each of these has internal links. Depending upon how large the page is, it can get into the hundreds. As noted above, this is more opportunity for people to click through.

At the same time, I personally have hundreds of articles with links in them. If any of mine are come across, in CTPX or Veews, there are plenty of places for people to follow through to. Fortunately, most of them lead to Leofinance.

What happens when people end up on those pages? The LeoAd revenue increases. Hence, we have the ability to help drive the success of LeoAds. By simply using the tools that are before us, we can enhance the revenue being generated each month, resulting in more buy demand for $LEO.

As LeoGlossary expands to the point where it is a valuable repository for information, people can bounce around, clicking on a number of pages. This is of interest to each Leo Power holders since, again, it enhances LeoAds.

In the end, this all feeds the same trough.

LeoGlossary is a great project and I have been using it in my posts. All of it adds up and I tend to use it more often for Splinterlands related content.

I don't use the glossary as much as I should. I feel like it is a bunch of extra work. I know it really isn't. I think part of it is just ignorance of not understanding the process. I need to play around with it more. I appreciate that you keep highlighting it and showing the potential in your posts.

I am 100% behind LeoGlossary and its purpose and look forward to incorporating links in my future Leo articles connecting to the Glossary pages. What was the best link from you, explaining LeoGlossary (to share with plebs) because I feel like some people just don't have the technical awareness of how the internet works...and need a simplified look at it?
