LeoAI: Data Generator

How much of an impact can LeoAI have on the entire LEO platform?

This is what I will dive into with this article. There are some statistics which should be very telling. We are only scratching the surface with the capabilities regarding this technology.

One of the key areas of focus is search. How will this be impacted by AI? Specifically, how will Google fare with many other companies entering the field with similar solutions?

Here is where we see a massive shift about to take place. In fact, if some of the reported numbers are correct, it is already happening.

What we are seeing could have a major impact upon LeoAI when that is released.

LeoAI: Data Generator

One thing to keep in mind about chatbot is they are driven by generative AI. That means it is not an input/output system. Traditional databases search for the answer that is already provide and spit it out.

With chatbots, the model actually provides an answer. This is no different than you asking the same question to 4 different people. Each, if they had the knowledge, would provide an accurate answer but it would vary slightly for each person.

When a query is answered, it is new information provided. Certainly, it could mirror what was in before, especially with regarding the facts (presuming hallucinations are minimized).

That means that these AI systems generate an enormous amount of data. When we look at the likes of ChatGPT, we can see how it is massive. With more than 100 million monthly users, the numbers get staggering.

LeoAI has the same potential. While the number of users will be miniscule compared to what ChatGPT is doing, we can see a massive jump as compared to the social media applications.

So let's take a look where all of this is going.

AI over Social Media

As stated, social media is no longer a destination. Instead, we are looking at a pathway for data. Social media is a way for platforms to generate data.

Here is where the change occurs.

Let us start with the epicenter of Web 2.0, Google. This is the dominant player in search. They account for more than 90% of all that is done.

How big is it? This is what I could find:

There are approximately 8,323,333,333 searches on Google every day. Source

We have over 8 billion searches taking place on Google alone. If we add in the others, we are likely coming in between 9B-10B. That is a lot of traffic that can be pulled.

If we look at the social media spectrum, X (formerly Twitter) has around 500 million "tweets" per day. We know there is a fair bit of activity on there. Nevertheless, it pales in comparison to search.

My conclusion is that people are seeking information more than they look to engage.

Twitter was formed in 2006, making it around 18 years old. ChatGPT was released in 2022 as a front end, putting that at 2 years.

The first week of release, the platform was receiving over 100 million queries per day. That means it was 20% of X upon release. That number has now grown to a reported 1 billion per day.

What we are looking at is something that is 1/8 the amount of Google. To me, this show how powerful this is.

When it comes to activity, AI is going to send things through the roof.

LeoAI

When Leo releases it own chat, we should see similar results.

The platform was doing around 2,500 "comments" per day. This has double due to the construction of an AI agent. However, once LeoAI is released, we could see double the activity for the AI application.

It would not be surprising to see 10K queries per day in the first month. When people have the option of looking up information, they take advantage of it. This is the ration we are looking at throughout the entire industry.

There is a lot of money flowing into AI for a reason. This is going to take up a large portion of the online activity. We are seeing the numbers spell out what many speculated.

It is starting to take over. We are fortunate that Leo will soon be in the game.
