LeoAI: Adding Search To Hive
There are many layers to LeoAI. This is, perhaps, the most exciting thing to hit Hive since the fork from Steem. We are entering the AI age and if a platform doesn't incorporate this in, basically death is in the making.
LeoAI is actually training a model. This is not simply operating as a front end to ChatGPT or something of that nature. data is being fed through the compute, generating a model that people can use.
Where is this data coming from? It is likely that many sources are utilized but one big dataset is from the Hive blockchain.
Why is this important? We are looking at more than 8 years worth of articles and comments. There is a lot of text that was fed in over the years. This is all captured on the blockchain, something that LeoAI is going to utilize.
LeoAI: Adding Search To Hive
One of the drawbacks to Hive is the fact that it is very difficult to find anything. At the same time, there are really no recommend engines to be found. This is crucial for social media.
LeoAI utilizes a vector database. One of the big advantages to this is these databases excel at recommendations. Through the design, they are fast and efficient. This is exactly what Hive needs.
Yet, it goes even further than that.
People have little in the way of search capability. Basically, when data is fed into the Hive Database, it is lost forever. How often have you wanted to find an article that you wrote only to get frustrated at the result Google provides?
This is eliminated with the use of AI.
It is also something that is becoming commonplace.
Once again, we see evidence of the same: if a platform does not have these tools built in, forget about it. The idea that social media is going to be a standalone thing in a couple years is nonsense.
Instead, we are looking at platforms that will be AI epicenters. The key is to gather data. Social media features allow for the creation of this. Then, the platform has to utilize the data, training it and developing AI services that users need.
We are seeing this with Meta, X, and Google. Reddit is obviously in the game. Amazon, although not social media, is adding a ton of AI features.
It is the norm.
Of course, on Hive, there is nothing. This is what LeoAI is going to address.
Tokenomics Surrounding LeoAI
The tokenomics of LEO are well documented. One of the keys is Leo premium. This is a way to generate revenues which are utilized to purchase the token, placing it in permanent liquidity.
So far, the features are minimal regarding Leo Premium. They do benefit users of the platform, something that is also minimal. AI is also going to change this a great deal.
AI is a much bigger draw than social media. We see the numbers relating to chatbots exploding. This drives an insane amount of data. Google does over 8 billion searches per day. That is a lot of activity that can be pulled elsewhere.
Web 3.0 requires applications that people use. So far, outside the speculation of crypto, few use cases are available. There are some DeFi applications which, obviously, focus upon the financial angle.
However, then it comes to news, information, or entertainment, people turn to Web 2.0.
This means the AI features that are built into these platforms only enhance the network effects they already enjoy.
It is time to change that. Leo has the opportunity to forge something completely different. We are already seeing a couple AI agents operate as force multipliers on the platform. This could be the first wave of innovation.
Wealth generation is going into overdrive. We are going to see hundreds of trillions created through AI and robotics. It will change all of civilization. This is ushering the age of abundance.
Bringing it back, we need to start the process of decentralizing things. LeoAI is one path where we are not dealing with Big Tech.
It also brings something different to Hive.
Posted Using InLeo Alpha
Remembering this very interesting detail, there are 8 years of posts and comments that LeoAI can feed on and this without a doubt helps to train it.
Several times I can say.
I also believe that any social media that does not have an AI tool will fall behind other competitors.
Notion introduced AI too recently. It is a clear trend.
With Notion you can search within your own notes pages OR let it summarize what you stored about a certain topic, generate new text, templates and even databases. Improve your writing, extract todo’s and much more.
I’m curious what features LeoAI will bring.
Something like personal Hive News generated based on the tokens you have in your Hive-engine wallet would be very cool!
Is LeoAI already being used on InLeo?

As far as I am concerned, I have only 4 years on Hive and reading you @taskmaster4450le two years and each time I find that you bring a lot of ideas on LeoAI Thanks for keeping us informed.
