Can't blame the system for getting scared. But if they open up instead of resisting these financial revolution or innovations then I think it will be to their benefit too. Salute to those entities (private and government alike) who are embracing/welcoming these changes.
Technology is always disrupting the system and it's allowing people more opportunities outside of the system. I like the music example because Youtube and other platforms have made record companies a lot less useful. Then we also have people like Raven tokenizing themselves so the balance of power is changing.

People fear what they don't understand. Most of them havn't taken time to understand web 3. They're just scared it'll change the system they're all used to.
They don't know the beauty web 3 brings with it. It's great to see both private individuals and government already being a major part .
Blockchain is the referendum we need.
Oh this one will also be the title of a future post of mine. The economy is changing and despite crypto being still tied with traditional markets we're way ahead in creating a new world, a world for the peope.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem
Two powerful quotes that I got:
This last one, I am tempted to post as my status update on Facebook. Perhaps, some other day. Emotion is still high. Prone to misinterpretation. I might invite massive unnecessary attacks from the fans club of the newly elected head of the state.

The speaker references Pharrell Williams' endorsement of NFTs and explores how NFTs can revolutionize the industry by providing artists with more control over royalties and revenue streams. Furthermore, decentralization and tokenized communities are highlighted as potent tools to challenge existing power structures, be it in the music industry, governments, or economies. The discussion expands to emphasize the potential of Web 3 to drive financial freedom, decentralized governance, and reshape traditional systems.
Detailed Article:
The episode starts with the direct impact of Web 3 technologies on various sectors, taking cues from Pharrell Williams' recognition of the potential of NFTs, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. The focus shifts to the music industry, where NFTs emerge as a game-changer by empowering artists to leverage smart contracts for fair distribution of royalties among NFT holders. The speaker emphasizes the need for reform in the inherently biased music industry, where streaming services and record companies often exploit artists financially.
Furthermore, the discussion segues into the broader implications of decentralization, particularly in challenging established control mechanisms in industries and governments. By tokenizing communities, individuals gain the power to resist oppressive forces, whether they stem from music corporations, platform monopolies, or governing bodies. The speaker underscores how decentralized communities can transcend national boundaries and accumulate influence on a global scale, potentially rivaling governmental structures in economic impact.
Moreover, the episode sheds light on the democratizing potential of blockchain and tokenization, illustrating how individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds can participate and benefit from decentralized ecosystems. The speaker mentions platforms like Hive, where users can engage in activities and receive rewards on basic smartphones, underscoring the accessibility and inclusivity of Web 3 technologies. This democratization of wealth and influence within communities is seen as a crucial step towards countering centralized authority and fostering financial autonomy.
The narrative extends to highlight the broader societal implications of Web 3, foreseeing a future where decentralized governance systems challenge traditional power structures. The speaker speculates on the transformative nature of the internet, suggesting that as it infiltrates financial systems and governance, it could pave the way for more equitable and innovative governance models. In essence, the episode envisions a paradigm shift towards greater individual sovereignty, financial autonomy, and transparency facilitated by Web 3 technologies.
In conclusion, the episode serves as a call to embrace the disruptive potential of Web 3, advocating for a shift towards decentralized systems that empower individuals, challenge existing power dynamics, and pave the way for a more equitable and transparent future. The transformative impact of NFTs, blockchain, and decentralized communities is positioned as a catalyst for reshaping industries, economies, and governance structures in the coming years.
