Hive Getting Tens of Thousands Users
After last night's Cryptomaniac broadcast, it is intereting to learn of the plans for Leofinance with Threads.
In this video I discuss how things could change if we have 25K or 50K per day. If people are active, the RCs are going to be in need. This will be a starting point.

That's something amazing.. a great news
For me, threads is a lot of fun to pass the time... But for real educational content, I stick to the long-form content. I agree, having the ability to create lists, like Twitter, would allow you to put the "serious" threaders into categories and filter the noise that you aren't interested in.
The demand for RCs will be quite large. I wonder if a lite account will be made for every single user who signs up or not. I guess they could always delegate out some of the RCs and I think there are sufficient RCs for now. Eventually if does explode, then they will probably need more Rcs.

I want to add two things regarding what you said in the video.
There is a lease market for RCs on Hive-Engine. It's likely Leofinance won't need it, but the market exists and if demand will be there, the offer will come too.
While Splinterlands is not exposing its users to the broader Hive ecosystem directly, some have found their way. And when we talk about big enough numbers, some can be significant. I know directly enough people who joined because of Splinterlands and are now commenting, blogging, playing other games, trading, or trying other projects on Hive-Engine, etc.
I think both approaches will work in their own ways and for different types of people.
Summary:
Task, in this video, discusses the potential of Leo Threads and its impact on the Hive community. He mentions the need for filtering on Leo Threads to improve user experience. Task highlights the possibility of integrating Twitter accounts to Leo Threads, which could attract more users from Twitter to the Hive ecosystem. He ponders on the implications of having 25,000 to 50,000 active users on LeoThreads and how it could change the dynamics of Hive. Task also contemplates the challenges and opportunities associated with the influx of new users.
Detailed Article:
In this video, Task delves into the potential of Leo Threads in the Hive ecosystem, building on a recent discussion with NomadSoul about Hive, LeoFinance, and Leo Threads. He points out the need for filtering on Leo Threads to enhance user engagement and experience, comparing it to the cluttered feeds on platforms like Twitter.
The discussion shifts towards the prospect of integrating Twitter accounts with Leo Threads, eliminating the need for new users to have a Hive account initially. This innovation could significantly lower the barrier to entry for individuals unfamiliar with cryptocurrencies or Hive, potentially attracting more users from Twitter to Leo Threads.
Task elaborates on the proposition that a large influx of active users, ranging from 25,000 to 50,000, on Leo Threads could have a substantial impact on the Hive ecosystem. He contemplates the implications of increased activity on the platform, such as a higher volume of transactions, rewards distribution, upvotes, and engagement in various activities like polls and custom JSONs.
The video delves into the role of resource credits in supporting new users who may not be familiar with Hive's technical aspects. Task questions how resource credits will be managed to accommodate the potential surge in user activity. He emphasizes the importance of LeoFinance and the application in providing resources and support for new users.
Furthermore, Task discusses the potential ripple effects of increased activity on Leo Threads, such as driving traffic to other Hive-based applications like PeakD and Three Speak. He speculates on the possible outcomes of implementing new features like shorts on Leo Threads and how these developments could attract more users to the platform and increase the overall value of Hive.
In conclusion, Task underscores the importance of monitoring trends related to Hive Power versus Hive and the need to analyze user behavior and resource utilization. He expresses optimism about the growth potential for Leo Threads and the positive impact it could have on the Hive ecosystem, emphasizing the importance of buy demand and scalability in driving value for the platform.
