HIve: Showing The Power Of A Cooperative And The Contribution People Make

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Building on Hive is starting to take on a different meaning. We are seeing a lot of projects taking shape. Some are larger than others but many will have an impact.

In this video I discuss how people are able to get involved and contribute. Because of this, the montivation ia a bit different as compared to Web 2.0. We need to have a different mindset with regards to Web 3.0.

if there are projects that are bigger than others and also ambitious, everything will depend on where we can go. Web 3.0. it will help us much more since the profits will go to all the content creators in said projects

On chain fame might be if it relates to reputation. That could be more valuable than money in the future.

That is what I think as well and that is one of the main reasons why I tend to look very doubtful about professional curation and curation trails. Its impact on reputation might be deluding the concept.

Id rather have 100 people that are invested with many skill sets then hiring on 1,000 people who don't really care that much and are just looking for a paycheck. Web3 systems could very well revolutionize work itself.

That is tied to the old idea of a farmer protect his family and land can be more powerful than a well trained soldier.

One of there for the paycheck, the other for something much deeper.

The introduction reminds me of the old classic saying. If you want to go fast go alone and if you want to go further go as a team.
The power of the community can not be underated. Dispite all human beings being different we have similar likes and the more we are exposed to web3. 0 people will begin to realise just how much power is in there hands .This itself with the backing of solid communities makes blockchain technology and web3.0 a coporation that can not quenched easily

No one should ever make a mistake by underestimating the power of hive.

Crypto is still a developing space and people don't realize that many projects just won't make it. So we need to be selective and pay attention to which projects we invest in. Of course, the rewards for doing so are higher due to this risk.

Summary:
In this video, the speaker discusses the transition from Web 2 to Web 3, emphasizing the shift from centralized to decentralized data storage. He explores the concept of account ownership and highlights the importance of creating value within the Hive ecosystem. The speaker delves into the idea of indirect compensation in decentralized systems like Hive, where stakeholders are incentivized to contribute to the community's growth. He contrasts traditional job structures with the ownership mindset prevalent in Web 3 communities, stressing the importance of collective value creation. The speaker invites viewers to share their thoughts on these concepts in the comments section.

Detailed Article:
The speaker initiates the discussion by recalling a recent call with Dan and Starker Z, the CTT individuals, focusing on the evolution from Web 2 to Web 3. He underscores the fundamental difference between the two in terms of data storage, pointing out that while Web 2 platforms are centralized, Web 3, especially through blockchain technologies like Hive, offers decentralized data storage capabilities.

Moving on, the speaker delves into the significance of account ownership within the Hive ecosystem, acknowledging the power of individual user names on Hive's base layer. He references the Leo Glossary project, which aims to boost the rankings of platforms like LeoFinance, PeakD, and HiveBlog indirectly. The speaker clarifies that the project, though without direct compensation, is designed to contribute to an open decentralized database that benefits the wider community.

Further, the speaker delves into the concept of indirect compensation in Web 3 ecosystems like Hive. He elucidates how holding tokens in such communities incentivizes stakeholders to enhance the platform's value, emphasizing the potential for exponential gains as the ecosystem grows. The notion of a cooperative mindset within decentralized networks is stressed, highlighting the community's role in fostering ecosystem development.

The speaker contrasts traditional job structures, where direct compensation drives performance, with the ownership mindset prevalent in decentralized communities like Hive. He underscores the idea that in Web 3, the focus shifts from immediate monetary rewards to collective value creation, where individuals are aligned with the long-term success of the ecosystem.

In conclusion, the speaker invites viewers to share their perspectives on these concepts and their stance on the transition to Web 3. By fostering a dialogue on the ownership mindset and collective value creation in decentralized ecosystems like Hive, the video encourages viewers to rethink traditional notions of compensation and incentives in the digital age.
