Olivia of the Brook is the Rebellion Reward Card that changes the game in Splinterlands

(Edited)

Greetings, my lovely Splinterverse friends.

I hope everyone is having a great time in the Splinterlands. Splinterlands has now a lot of solid cards in the sphere and many of them are now in the hype and may of the old metas are getting old and people are not willing to use them. If I am not wrong, the newer editions of the Splinterlands cards are adding more powerful cards than the previous generation, which is a good way to keep the demand for the newer cards sustainable in the market. And thus the older cards are getting cheaper in the market. Also, the MODERN format requirement of the latest two editions is always on the advance for their more usability in the game. And for the recently introduced Survival mode has also added a great demand for the cards in the Splinterlands market.

Olivia of the Brook is one of the newest and most exciting cards to come out in Splinterlands in the rebellion reward set. She is part of the latest Rebellion set and can be used everywhere. Because it can do so many different things, this Epic Life Splinter card has already made a name for itself on the battlefield. Today I'm going to talk in-depth about this card, looking at how it works, what strategies it fits into, and some strong pairs that can help you win more games. I am very lucky that I have a GOLD-FOILED version of this excellent card.

The best thing is that it has two different attacks, including the MELEE and MAGIC. One of the best things about Olivia of the Brook is its unique ability, the Mimic, which is a great ability in the Splinterverse. Let us see what it can do in the battle when we use it in our team.

  • Olivia gets a random power from the other team members at the starting of round 2 and every round after that.

  • When Olivia gets hit, there is a 25% chance that she will copy an ability from the attacker.

  • If the opponent player uses Dispel, one copied ability will be taken away in the same order it was gained.

  • But some abilities such as Debilitations, Targeting, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge, and Taunt, cannot be copied.

Because of this, Olivia is one of the most dangerous supporting units in the game because she can change at any time. Her part can change quickly because she can gain new abilities during the fight.

It also has some other amazing abilities like the OPPORTUNITY that allows it to attack the weaker opponent monster in the battle. The other default ability is the REFLECTION SHIELD, which keeps it safe from many side destructions.

Olivia can play a lot of key roles in a battle with the Mimic ability. Here are some of the best ways to make good use of her in a battle.

  • Olivia works great as a supporting card as she can get abilities from enemies, so she might get something useful like Tank Heal, Strengthen, Inspire, or Repair, which can help your team stay alive longer and do more damage. If you put her in the right spot, she can get defensive or attacking skills that will help your team do better overall.

  • If Olivia is in the right place and gets lucky, she can get tank-like skills like Shield, Void, or even Self-Heal. This helps her stay alive longer by copying Thorns if the enemy has strong melee units. It is even harder to hit her if she gets Dodge.

  • Olivia might copy Magic Reflect, Return Fire, or even Double Strike in some fights, which would let her deal damage that wasn't expected. This makes her a wild card that the other player can not fully win against it.

Because of all these excellent abilities and powerful attacking power, Olivia is a gem in the Rebellion card set. Its dominating factor is also reflected in the market price, though it needs a lot of DEC to unbind this excellent card. If you are very lucky, then you can have a GF foiled Olivia, as I have one already, which is so good to have with amazing performance and also with higher rewards for using a gold foiled card in the team.

Olivia of the Brook is an epic card that changes the game and makes the Life Splinter unpredictable and flexible. There are many ways to use her to make a difference in battle, such as a support unit, a backup tank, or a surprise damage provider. One of the most interesting things about her card is that it can Mimic other cards' abilities, which is truly awesome. If you use it right, it can help you win the battle in any format. I really think you should use Olivia in different battles if you have not already to see how she fits into your plan. Olivia can be very strong if she has the right team and a little luck. One of the best reward cards. Especially if a battle takes a long time.
