My Rebellion deck building Strategy

Greetings my Splinterverse friend.

With the release of the rebellion cards, we are now seeing a wide range of new cards, abilities, and rulesets in the Splinterlands battle. So, changing battle strategies is inevitable to do better in the battle. As I have started I also play the game on a regular basis, I feel the problems as I used to play with the old cards with old abilities. So, these new abilities are excellent and add more excitement to the gaming experience but on the other hand, they are a crying need for my decks. I hope you are also enjoying the new cards and fighting strategies. Along with learning new tactics and exploring these better cards in opposing teams that I'd never seen before, the whole play experience has improved significantly.

As my investment was solely based on the CL edition, I don't have many new cards which made me that I've been looking for the greatest cards in the Rebellion set and started relying less on the Chaos Legion set, which has the majority of my cards. But the problem is after losing a lot of value in my CL packs and CL cards, I am not so confident about the new rebellion cards. So, I am focusing on the rebellion set in different aspects because many of these cards are so strong in the modern format of the battles, and even in the wild format, they can be very useful. So, it is a great time to switch to the new strategies based only on rebellion decks.

But currently, the rebellion sets are expensive than the older sets so it is recommended to buy the best cards from the splinter teams that are very useful in the battles. If you can't afford the core rebellion set, you may start with the rebellion reward card set, which has many strong cards for free. All you have to do is play more to get more Glint tokens, which you can then use to purchase these sturdy cards from the Glint Shop. In this post, I am going to share my strategy to deal with the situation to focus on the rebellion card sets and I hope they can be very useful for the modern and wild formats in the Splinterlands battle.

Before that, I want to share my rebellion card collections which are really amazing cards to have in the decks with a lot of new abilities that I am learning how they work in battle.

Currently, I have 3 LEGENDARY rebellion reward cards which are from the FIRE, LIFE, and the NEUTRAL splinter teams. They are very expensive if you want to pull them from the shop directly. It costs 35,000 GLINTs for the normal foil one and 600,000 for the gold foil one!

I have also 5 EPIC cards with one level 2 epic which are very powerful cards. I feel epics are more useful in my gameplay experience. Still, they are also expensive as cost 7,500 GLINT tokens per copy.

And, my RARE collection is really growing better as I have leveled out almost all the commons to level 6, and currently, I am working with these RARE. They are the driving force of my decks, so I must level up them as soon as possible.

My Strategies for Deck Building
It is very important to react very carefully in the market as the cards fluctuate every day and if you are not able to open a lot of rebellion packs with proper potions, then I don't recommend opening them in small numbers which will make you lose your money spent on the packs. But a proper way to do better is to accumulate more money buy a ton of packs and open them all together to get some amazing pulls that can make you gain a lot if your luck is better. So, my suggestions are as follows,

  • Focus on the reward cards from the rebellion set which can give you the primary understanding of the new summoners and new cards to handle and learn which abilities are more important and which card you should buy first. And to do so, the best way is to play constantly to get the GLINT rewards.

  • Rent SPS staking for higher rewards or stake more SPS as the price is super cheap in current days. Also, renting stronger cards can make you earn a lot of rewards in SPS and GLINT reward. I am going to focus on that when I will be more regular to play the game.

  • Open the loot chests rather than buy direct cards from the Glint Shop. Though you will get more merits one or two pulls will make your day. As I have gotten all the legendary from the loot chest pulls. Also, yesterday I got 3 RARE GF cards which is really awesome.

  • For choosing loot chests, I recommend the major chests which are cheaper and can have a solid amount of rewards. If possible try to get some ultimate also as they have the highest rewards ratio.

  • Another suggestion is to open a lot of loot chests altogether to have better percentages of good rewards cards or other rewards from these chests.

  • Accumulation of rewards is also important if you want to buy some titles in the game. It can increase your battle rewards.

  • Rent the rebellion cards from the core collection to gain experience with the card and to learn the potentiality of the card and then buy the card which is the most important to increase your battle-win ratio.

  • Don't buy the single BCX Xard in the market if you have a longer plan with the game, either make a bid or buy the max version that will give you the lowest BCX value.

  • But my ultimate strategy on this fact is to rent cards in the current situation and buy them when the next edition is released as that time rebellion will be very cheap, just see the price of the CL cards! Also, the wild cards have no value now!

  • If, you have a larger plan for the PLOTs, then buy some solid cards with the highest production points as the market will soar for these cards when a new update from the LAND EXPANSION is announced. I have an EPIC plot so I am also planning for it.

  • Also, from a land perspective, you can buy some GF oil cards that can be more useful on land and also can provide you extra rewards in the battle.

  • The last suggestion that I want to share is that it is not compulsory to make every splinter decks to the max version. Focus on a 2/3 splinters team with the DRAGON and NEUTRAL cards which can cover 80% of your battle, and leave the 20% for neutral and dragons which can increase your win ratio significantly.

I hope you find some useful information in the post that will bring more fun to your Splinterlands journey. If you have any questions, you can ask me in the comments. I will try to answer at my best. Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch you at the next one.
Have a great day!

Nicely written - I agree with you and unfortunately... just like you the bulk of my collection is CL 😭

I've been adding to it for years though... so I have a decent amount of cards outside CL but it hasn't been easy... or CHEAP!!

Best of luck to you in the coming Bull Market 😁

For me also, CL is my massive collection but rebellion is much stronger. Luckily I have sold a lot of cards during the previous Tiny Bull during the last Land expansion announcement; so expecting some price appreciation to my Hive that I bought and going to sell a part for the coming edition as CL will be removed from the modern battle. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a nice day!
