Exploring a Piece of Watery Heaven
Greetings my dear Hive fellows, hope you are doing well and I am also very happy because of our nation's victory against a cruel fascist regime recently. After several weeks of break due to my country's war-like situation, I am again here with my regular blogs. Today I am going to share my visit to a beautiful watery heaven area of the Beijing Olympic Forest Park where I have paid a visit recently. The visit reminds me about my country's rainy season of my village life and city life during the monsoon when almost every day it rains a lot. Everywhere I found water during this period of the year in Bangladesh.
My village in Bangladesh has no river but there are two canals that can compare to the rivers in China as I have explored so far. But the canals were full of water only during the monsoon. Just after the month of April, it starts raining in my country, and till July it follows a slow speed while maybe it rains hardly 2 days a week on average. But the complete monsoon starts in July when almost every day many parts of the country face daily rains. Sometimes some weeks are completely under stormy weather due to the generation of storms in the Bay of Bengal due to lower pressure in the area with a huge circular area that always hits the coastal area of Bangladesh.
That time the surrounding becomes a full watery heaven as the water is seen everywhere and the sound of the ripples can be heard throughout the whole season of monsoon. In Dhaka City where I have also spent a long period of my life rain is much heavier than my village home. Due to very poor sewerage and water exiting systems, the roads are merged in water with heavy rain for a couple of hours which is a big issue during the rainy season for the people. Often you can find many smaller boats on the roads of Dhaka after a heavy rain as the normal vehicles are unable to move due to excessive water on the roads.
All these memories were triggered in my brain during my recent visit to the Olympic Forest Park in the Beijing City center, the biggest park and forestry area in the heart of the huge city. Not all the corners of the park is so exciting as these tiny part of the park where there are many smaller water ponds with rocky surroundings. Some rocky channels can be crossed by jumping and the large stones by the water bodies make the surroundings very enjoyable.
Besides, the color of the water is completely green as the surrounding of the water ponds are also full of green trees as the summer has let them to adorn in its full with the green leaves of it each branches. Though the summer was ho this area was very comfortable a the temperature was lower than the other areas of the forest park.
Another eye-catching fact of this area is the reflection of the greenish surrounding on the greenish water. I guess the color of the water became greenish due to less movement of the water and a lot of plankton of weeds in the water of this section of the park. But undoubtedly, the views are so beautiful here to spend your leisure time than other sections of the whole forest park.
I have also seen some grassland just by the opposite side where the view becomes unique with some trees by the bank of the lake. The green grasses have smaller mountain-like appearances with beautiful trees by the reflective water bodies, the view is really amazing. Any nature lover will find this view very interesting.
I had already spent a lot of time in the park and this area was just before I exited from the park but this beautiful section made me stay longer being very tired of the long hours of walking around in each corner of the park. So, I decided to take some rest in this part of the park to have enough rest and explore mother nature.
I found a stony area sat on a big stone and started observing not only the beauty of nature but also the activities of the people surrounding me of all ages. I find many interesting facts about Chinese culture by exploring them in the park.
I have seen the children enjoying their catching fishes with some nets as I can it is the most common view everywhere you can find some accessible water bodies in Beijing. And their parents were helping them or staying with them which is the most difficult work for them in my opinion.
As the time was after the launch, I saw families enjoying their launch together. Though I have explored the B-Q-B party in some distance places far from the city where camping is allowed butt here I have seen them enjoying foods mostly ready to eat or the alternatives without any cooking necessities.
Finally, I exited the Olympic Forest Park with a fresh mind and a sweet memory to my life story. It was a long and tiring day but the beauty of the park made me forget about the hot sun and the tiredness of walking a lot. Jut the soothing feeling was with me for the rest of the day and I hope for the rest of my life.
I hope you like my photos of the beauty of the Olympic Forest Park with the abundance of flowers of different colors. It was an amazing experience to have travel to such a fantastic place like this, with the discovery of natural beauty, to enjoy my Beijing life!
