Choosing the Best Summoner in Splinterlands

Greetings my Splinterverse friend.

I hope that all of you are enjoying the game as much as I am every day. Splinterlands is a game of fun where you have the opportunity to earn some juicy rewards in many ways that you can not count down. The Splinterlands universe is for all classes of players with massively experienced pro players, naive or new players, and non-players like investors and traders, as all the opportunities exist in the game sphere with a balanced game economy among all the blockchain-based NFT games. In my last post, I discussed the full process to open a free account in the game and how to buy a completely free rebellion rewards card as my entry in the community engagement. Today, I am going to talk about choosing the best summoners for your battle as it is very crucial to win a battle, and consequently, it is very important to rank higher position in the ranking.

In Splinterlands, summoners are the leaders of your team. Each summoner has unique abilities that apply buffs (positive effects) or debuffs (negative effects) to the monsters you send or to your opponent’s monsters. As a slightly experienced Splinterlands player, I’ve learned that choosing the right summoner is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in battle in the game, whether it is in modern or wild format. Summoners are the backbone of a battle strategy as they offer numerous abilities to all the monsters of the team. In this blog, I will take you through the key points of selecting the best summoner, and at the end of this blog, I hope you will feel more confident in selecting the best summoner for your battle that can lead you more wins in the game.

When you choose a summoner, you’re not just choosing an element such as Earth, Fire, Water, Life, Death, or Dragon) but you are also developing a complete strategy for your battle. A well-chosen summoner can help you in the following facts-

  • Boost your team’s stats by increasing health, attacks, armors and enabling many abilities.
  • Counter your opponent’s skills by decreasing speed, attacks and so on.

Important Things to Look for in a Summoner

There are several things that you have to consider and keep in mind when choosing your summoner. I am trying to summarize these things that are necessary to choose a summoner,

  • The most important thing is to check the battle rules very carefully because many battle rules can be completely opposite to the summoner's ability. Often, some rulesets can make your team weaker when a wrong summoner.

  • Checking the opponent's previous battle history is also crucial because many summoners have strong opposition summoners.

  • Summoners can give you many benefits like boosts to your team, such as adding more attack, health, or speed, or they can also lower your opponent's stats. It is very important to understand these skills to do better in the battle.

  • The next thing that should be considered as there are different power caps for each battle. Some summoners do better in low-mana fights, while others do better in high-mana battles.

  • The other important thing is to match the monsters with the chosen summoner. The monsters you want to use should be properly matched with the summoner you have selected for the battle. You should consider how the summoner's ability fits your complete battle strategy.

  • Beating your opponent's summoner abilities with a study of the previous battle history. You can get an advantage if you can guess what your opponent will do by figuring out the opponent's battle history, battle rules, and the MANA caps. You can pick a summoner that counters the one you think they will use if you think they will.

In conclusion, it is very important to learn about the basic summoners and their roles in the battle and how they can enhance the capability of the corresponding monsters. To select the best summoner in Splinterlands, you need to use proper strategies, including predicting the opponent's psychology and battle-related things such as the rulesets, mana caps, and the allowed splinter teams for the battle. It is also very important to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of each summoner as there are pros and cons of all the summoners, and if you know how to balance them well, you can greatly increase your chances of winning. In a nutshell, the main points are as follows:

  • Know the details of each summoner and how they can help you and hurt your enemy team. Try to max out your summoner to have the utmost capability of your monsters in the team.

  • Study the synergy of the togetherness of your monsters and summoners as a team that work well with the battle strategy you have prepared for the battle to beat your enemy team.

  • Be flexible in changing your battle strategy to make your enemy fool to deal with certain stronger summoners and the total battle mana cap for beating your enemy team effectively.

  • Practice makes a man perfect, so you should go through trial and error to learn the most effective ways to increase your win ratio. You will have the opportnity to get better at making good selction of summoners and monsters as you play and try new strategies every day in your battles. In this way you can win more battles and move up in Splinterlands ranking with higgher rating. If you learn the proper knowledge and strategy of using right summoner in the game plan, you can enjoy the game more closely.
