What is the curation trail in terracore?

This my another day exploring terracore and today I see a new thing in the game about which I have no idea about. It is called curation trail and that can be seen below, the screenshot that I took on official site of terracore.

If I am not wrong does this means that our account authentication will be given to terracore account? I do not know if this is safe and when I clicked the link I saw a new page as hivesigner.

Is this site secure? I thank anyone who tells me, I see it ask for account name and password but if we can already use hive blog or ecency then why do we need to give password here?

Don't know but I am eager to know, so many things on hive is explored just by a single game. I am happy that I start to explore this game.
