Old notes (poetry)
Do you still remember that blue sky?
Thin clouds drift along to accompany the twinkle of the sun..
we sat side by side telling stories of jokes...cheerfulness and love were painted in your grace
looking at the grass
and the green grass savanna in spring at that time
and see a pair of churches perched on the branches of a pine
cheerfully sings about making out every now and then
however...the seasons have changed
The grass savanna that used to stretch out green... has now turned red and angry when the climate burns
arid... barren, nothing like the expanse of Kalahari sand
The pine trees that used to be towering...were fragile being swallowed by fungi...
and look at the pair of churches
can't be seen anymore
he left and never came back
just like you...
Thank you so much for reading. Have a good day ☺️@tanicha
