MakeMeSmile WednesdayWalk-Guess Who's Birthday Today? 🙈

Hello everyone 👧.

I'd like to take a day off today since it's a special day. Yet, there's a mountain of work I need to finish, and it's so urgent that I have to work overtime at my workplace.

My Mum and Sister visited my workplace in the afternoon. They brought a brown cake in the shape of a heart to my workplace for the birthday girl.

Upon their arrival at my workplace, we immediately began the birthday party with the cake. @butwo and my family sang the birthday song while the birthday girl keep on thinking many wishes in her mind before blowing the single candle. As per the birthday girl, her first wish is that she gets the job done faster and that the client pays the company faster as well.

There are four people in my workplace. We just sliced the cake into four for sharing.

Then I continued working until the second part of the celebration, which is the birthday dinner.

We decided to have our meal at Sasa Seafood Restaurant near my workplace for dinner. It's only 2 minutes walk to the restaurant from my workplace. We just sat down at the table next to the cat that meowed at us when we arrived at the restaurant.

The birthday girl decided all the dishes for her birthday dinner celebration and almost accidently picked more than 6 dishes from the food menu. As for the birthday dinner, we will only have 6 dishes based on the birthday girl's preferences.

By the end of the dinner, we could not finish 4 of the 6 dishes. We requested the waitress to Tapau or pack up for takeaway for the unfinished dishes.

My Mum and Sister return home with the Tapau, and @butwo and I go back to my workplace to continue my battle with the work's mountain. Before I start the battle, I check my social media and messenger on my mobile phone.

I'm kind of moved after reading everyone's wishes for the birthday girl. Some of my close teenage friends who did not meet for more than 10 years still send birthday wishes to the birthday girl. I regret not wishing these friends a happy birthday, as I recall some of their birthday dates.

In addition, due to the busy life of managing business, I have to quit playing mobile game that require commitment. I'm shocked that even though I had quit playing the game for many years, still got gamer's friends from other countries such as Indonesia, Singapore and Australia still sending birthday wishes to the birthday girl. I thought they had already forgotten the birthday girl.

Their birthday wishes, as well as the ones from my family members, are the best birthday presents for the birthday girl this year.
