Foo Phing Dim Sum Restaurant - Eat Dim Sum Until We Surrender 🤤🏳️

Hello everyone 👧. This is another of my throwback family outing story during my hiatus period from posting.

A few months ago, it was my peak season for accounting work 🔢💻 until I don't have time to do posting and family outings. It's like I've been staying indoors for too long and getting stressed from work 😣. So, I want to release my stress by eating something nice. I ask my family members where should we have our meal and it's my treat. Then, my Sister 👸 suggested we go eat Dim Sum at Foo Phing Dim Sum Restaurant for breakfast.

Dine In

Foo Phing Dim Sum Restaurant located at Lintas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and well known that the restaurant always full house during opening hour.

The last time I went to this restaurant was before the pandemic as it's very hard to get empty seats during the times we want or some of the delicious Dim Sum already sold out. Therefore, me, my Mum, my Sister and @bu2mu reached this restaurant at 8.00 a.m. sharp on Sunday.

Maybe Dim Sum is one of my Sister favourite food, she was leading to enter the restaurant 🚶‍♀️💨.

The restaurant consists of indoor and outdoor seats. We managed to get an indoor seats with air conditioner since we came to the restaurant early morning.

I let my Sister decides the order but seems she's having hard time to choose it as too many choices and some Dim Sum @bu2mu allergy on it. In the end, I help her to pick the food and she writes it down 📝 in the paper then pass it to the waitress.

This is the order list of Dim Sum we select. There still got some Dim Sum that we feel like to order it, but I stop ordering more Dim Sum after I saw our order checklists very long 📜.

My Sister asked me can we have second order?

I reply, of course, if we managed to finish the current order of Dim Sum.

I ordered my favourite hot chrysanthemum tea without sugar as our drinks for our breakfast 🍵.

Before starting our meal, let my Sister taking picture 📱 of the Dim Sum to post to her Instagram. Meanwhile, @bu2mu secretly took the picture 📱🙊 of her with funny face.

Did we get a second round of order of Dim Sum?

The answer is No 🙅.

We cannot finish the Dim Sum for our first order 🏳️. We asked the waitress to pack the Dim Sum leftover on the table for us takeaway.

I'm paying the meal since I'm promised to treat them 💳.

The time we end our meal around 9.00 a.m. . The restaurant already full with people without empty seats

Tapau or Takeaway

My Dad 👨, who don't like going out, did not follow us to breakfast. My Mum 👩 wants to Tapau Dim Sum for him to enjoy too. Actually we can request for takeaway on our table just now but my Mum did not know about it.

We have to fill this order form again for the Dim Sum we want to takeaway.

It's a long queue 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ to pass our order sheet to the cashier counter. That time, I'm standing outside the restaurant on queue.

The restaurant also sell the frozen Dim Sum in the freeze. We did not buy any of it.

There got waiting counter chair for people to wait their takeaway to ready for pick up. My Mum sit there comfortably and I join her afterward.
