Making Impact

---

There's no better way to make a difference than working to be a man of significance and impact. A life that's worth living is a life that's not lived for oneself, but for others. A man that lived for himself lived a life that is worth not emulating because he lived without making significant contribution to humanity.

It's worth mentioning that great people, men and women, who have ever lived, lived lives of significance, they impacted their generation. No one, no single person, ever contributed significantly to better humanity and be forgotten. They will always be remembered for whatever good they did to turn their world around.

If there's a journey that's worth embarking on, it's a journey of making significant impact. Nobody has ever become great by doing nothing for his generation. Nobody! See, people who make significant impact aren't different from ordinary people. Perhaps what makes them different from those who don't is their willingness to change abnormalities which they aren't comfortable with.

I guess someone is thinking, 'you don't really know how difficult it is, to make impact'. Well, why you .ay not be totally wrong, but the true is, anybody can make impact, anybody can contribute significantly to his world. I want to suggest some things you can do to make impact and become a person of value. I believe they will be helpful to you.

Find a reason to make impact

There's nothing in life you want to do which will ever be achieved if there's no reason, the why, for doing it. If you don't have any reason why you pursue what you pursue, you won't find energy to go on when you reach a "junction of confusion". There will always be a point when it seems you can't proceed in what you want to achieve. But if there's a reason for doing it, you won't give up. If you want to make impact, then, find a reason for doing it. That will make you go in any length to do that which you want to do to help humanity.

Start Small

Most people never work on their dreams because they don't believe they have what it takes to start, they never believe their potentials are enough for what they want to do. If you want to make impact, the best way to start is to start small. After all, what is called significant impact is something done not with what's big, but with and from what seems little that turns out to be something big and extraordinary. Everyone who made impact learnt how to use the little they had.

Be Consistent with and Committed to whatever you want to do to help humanity

If you have found a reason to impact your world and you are ready to start small, then you need to be committed to and consistent with it. If you will ever make impact, you must be intentional about what you want to do. Until you are ready to do it every day, every time and moment,you aren't intentional about it. You will need to talk about it, work on it, and take action about it daily. Remember, what gets talked about gets done!

Be Ready to Face Challenges

There's no road that's without its own challenges. Nothing you want to achieve will be achieved on plater of gold. In fact, the journey to becoming a man of value, to making a significant impact may be the most roughest roads in life. While making a significant impact is not impossible, but it's always challenging. You will face so many trials on your ways, but you must be determined not to give up. If you don't quit, you will eventually achieve that which your heart desires.
