Moral codes define our life or life defines moral codes?

Moral codes define our life or life defines moral codes? This was the question which was ringing my mind from last day. This question is also similar to philosophical domain and there are two philosophical theories about Existence precedes essence or Essence precede existence. These theories are proposed and supported by Philosopher like Sarte and Aristotle.

Existence precedes essence which is supported and explained by Sarte claims that first existence came in this world and then this existence defined our moral codes, experiences, choices and actions that became essence.

On contrary, Aristotle and classic philosophers supported and explained the concept "Essence precedes Existence".

This is long going classical and philosophical debate. In the end, we can just say that existence and essence are closely connected and both define each other. In the same manner, Life is closely connected to moral codes and vice versa.

Life is life because 0f our lived experiences and actions. With the help of our experiences, we determine that what is good and bad. Similarly, we decide the difference between right and wrong. Now, one thing is pretty much clear that experiences tell us that what will be the moral codes of life. Well, moral codes are also related to society and region. Overall, there are many moral codes which are universally accepted and applicable everywhere like respect, kindness and all others.

If a question imposed on me that what is that particular moral code with which i have to stick for life? Then it will be Respect. Being a person who is humble and kine towards other is really an important thing. Although, this respect term and standard is set by society but i am very optimistic sort of person. Respect not only covers the domain of respecting elders but it also gives lesson of gratitude.

Gratitude is the key to live a joyous and cheering life. It gives lesson that whatever we have, we should be satisfied on that. We should be thankful and grateful. If we will be grateful then obviously we will achieve more and more in our life.

By respecting others, i also learn and gather good lucks and wishes from everyone. By respecting my parents, i learn the way to live in family. By respecting my friends, i learn the way to live in the society. By respecting teachers and all other professionals, i learn the way to behave with professionals. Quite optimistic but it is life of me and i strongly put emphasis on being ethical person.

Even there are many people who considers that respect term and standard is socially constructed. I also respect their ideology. They claim that elders can be wrong! ..... I agree with it. In the case, if someone is wrong then it is clear that you can call them wrong and move on!

Well.... Its quite interesting that everything is socially constructed as right and wrong. For example; a thing which is right for you in your context will be wrong for other in another context.

At the end, i want to say that to live in the society of social animals we have to follow the socially constructed things.
