Attabad Lake|Hunza Tour Diary#2

It was 6th September 2024. Friday morning was giving us pleasure view of greenery and snow covered mountain. It was our first day in the Hunza. Hunza is the beautiful, i was admiring the beauty. When i got up i pulled back the curtain to see the dreamy view of Rakaposhi mountain.

The middle mountain, you are seeing, is Rakaposhi in local language.It means snow covered mountain. I was blessed that i got full clear view of this mountain as there were no rushed clouds around it.It is truly a treat and leisure to my eyes.
One can feel like he is residing in heaven.Many times, i plan to escape the worldly stress and tensions.I found a place where a person can come after escaping from the world.In these mountains, you will only find you and your echo.You can dance as much as you want and speak as much as you can.But, at the end of the day human is social animal and he needs humans to be socialize.Don't worry, you will also find humans here. Humans of Hunza are more humans than us. They are polite, humble and down to earth.You will feel more home in this region.

Personally, I didn't want to leave this hotel. Who will leave such a place where he/she is getting such natural views of dreamy nature. Well, our tour guide already alert us to be on time. That's why i was ready to go.
Infront of my hotel is a garden. In that garden, there are many vegetables and interestingly trees of apple. This is the first time that i am seeing apple trees. You know there were apples too in the paradise too. So it's paradise.

At 10'O clock, we all were packed into the bus. Bus started it's bumpy journey towards Attabad Lake. It was not just our bus who was towards joueney but clouds, mountains and waterfalls were also our companions. I was whispering about nature, sitting on the very back seat.

Road is crowded by mountain range. This mountain range is known as Korakaram Range. It's the same mountain range in which you will see K2 Mountain(World's second largest mountain).

It's Korakaram Highway which is one of the candidates for 8th Wonders Of the World. Tunnels are made by cutting the mountains. This highway is truly an engineering marvel. Highway is 1300km long and it joins two countries Pakistan and China. Interestingly, Korakaram Highway is also known as Friendship Highway.

Korakaram Highway is surrounded by natural wonders. Korakaram highway is reminder of old silk route which was famous for trade purposes. While our bus was on the way, i was noticing the traces and paths of old silk route.

Hurrah, we almost reached Attabad Lake. This lake is of much importance. Attabad lake came into existence after massive landsliding and earthquake in 2010. Due to massive landsliding, it misplaced many locals and harmed the lives of locals. Initially the locals faced serious consequences but now this lake emerged as an opportunity for local residents.

This tourist spot (Attabad Lake) is kinda earning source for locals. There is a cultural market around this lake. In this market, you can find cultural items, dresses and stone items. These all items are beautiful. You would surely be tempted towards these cultural items. I was also tempted to these cultural items. I went in the shops but my pocket didn't allow me to buy any item.

Here we reached.... See the Deep blue water of Attabad lake. Every side, you will see mountains and in the lap of mountains it's lake.

I was darting my eyes because i cannot believe in my eyes that everything is real. I gazed up and saw a man flying in the air. Oh, he wasn't actually flying. It's Zipline adventure.

Even picture looks like an imaginary painting. For me, it was an imaginary world. I was like, i have entered the world of dreams.

The bridge you are seeing....are you seeing that? It's korakoram Highway. Don't forget to read about this highway.

Only one sentence i uttered after seeing Attabad Lake- Often difficult roads lead to an beautiful Oasis.

I and my friends decided to enjoy jet skiing experience. There were two types of jet skiing. One is imported jet skiing and the second one is Pakistani. I chose Pakistani jet skiing because it was affordable. It costs 2000PKR for two persons.

Jet made sound......guh,guh and it was in the middle of lake. I enjoyed, i really enjoyed. No, i didn't feel like mermaid 😂.

To see my photos in future, i also requested my bestie to take some clicks. She took really bad and blurred clicks. Is your bestie also same?

While i was posing for the pictures, i heard the voice of tour guide. Tour guide was calling us back. I rushed back but i met some foreigners. Those people were from Malaysia. I talked them. Well, it's more like my hobby to talk to foreigners. I really like to have rapid question and answer round with people.

At very last moment, i entered a shop. There were many warm dresses hanging at entrance. Also, Dummies welcomed me in the shop. Surprisingly,there was no one inside the shop.

Well, it's really a good thing of Hunza shops that shopkeeper will not be there inside the shops. Once you like any item, you can ask shopkeeper who would be sitting outside.

Ouch.... Mountainous Cow was staring at me. I Gotta Go!
