Hello Hive Community, It’s feels good to be here after myriads of encouragement from one of my brothers from another mother, @olujay. Thank you, brother, for introducing me to this great platform.

I’m glad I was able to gather the courage to come out here to put my creativity to the great people of Hive. I believe strongly that this is an opportunity for me to grow, network, and interact with the Hive community.

𝔸𝔹𝕆𝕌𝕋 𝕄𝕐𝕊𝔼𝕃𝔽

My name is ToluwanimiGold. I was born on the 26th of November, not too many years ago. I hail from the Western side of Nigeria, particularly Ogun State. I am the first of three given to my parents.

A few things about me:
• God is my anchor. I am enthralled by the things of God.

• I’m an entrepreneur. I make lovely picture and art frames.

• I am a tech enthusiast. Anything futuristic intrigues me.

• I am a lover of video games. football games, especially. Playing video games is one of my hobbies that I can do all day long without getting tired,Lol.

• I am a proponent of financial literacy.

• I have a good sense of humor and I’m a collected person.

MY EDUCATIONAL STATUS

I’m an undergraduate at the Federal University of Agriculture,Abeokuta (FUNAAB). I’m currently in my penultimate year, studying Home Science and Management.

As the custom is, we do observe a six-month internship training during the second half of our penultimate year so as to have practical knowledge of what we’ve been taught since our first year in school.

I completed the first half of my penultimate year, which ended on the 13th of February,2022. I commenced my internship training program on the 4th of April, which I completed on the 5th of September,2022.

WHY JOIN HIVE?

I was captivated by the idea of a platform that could help people become the best versions of themselves while also connecting them with others who share their values.

I joined HIVE so I could share with the world my gifts and give to humanity through this great platform.

Also, to network with great minds and communities that will inspire and motivate me.
In my subsequent posts, I’ll be sharing my creations and inspirations on Hive.

HOW DID I JOIN HIVE?

As I stated earlier in this post, Hive was introduced to me by @olujay during one of our numerous conversations, sometimes around August this year.

If I could remember vividly, we were talking about how a lot of people do not usually engage on original and valuable posts but would rather engage and spend their time on posts that wouldn’t add value to their lives, all in the name of catching "Cruise".

Then he mentioned a great platform, HIVE, which has been helping him grow by giving him the opportunity to share his gifts with the world and network with people and communities who have greatly inspired and motivated him!

Thereafter, he began to educate me on how the whole hive ecosystem operates. The whole system really intrigued me so much that I was really anxious to become a member of the Hive Community.

𝕄𝕐 𝔼𝕏ℙ𝔼ℝ𝕀𝔼ℕℂ𝔼 𝕎𝕀𝕋ℍ ℍ𝕀𝕍𝔼 𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕋ℂ𝔸𝕄ℙ

It would be an act of ingratitude if I failed to appreciate the efforts of the leaders of the @hive-bootcamp cohort , @starstrings01, @olujay and @monioluwa.

They did a really great job, giving us series of intensive lectures for more than a week via the Google meet app on how the Hive ecosystem operates.

We were lectured on the following topics:

• Introduction to Hive.

• Knowing your Niche and Finding the
Right Communities.

• Hive Stance on Plagiarism.

• Setting up your Hive Account.

• Learning how to format your Post
using Markdowns.

• Exploring 3Speak.

These were the topics that we imbibed inside of us for more than a week to get ourselves ready for our journey on the HIVE platform.

MY EVERYDAY JOB

In 2020, during the COVID-19 outbreak, everyone was ordered to stay at home in order to slow the spread of the fatal virus.

My mother operates a nursery and elementary school, and my father is an high school principal. Both of my parents are employed in the field of education.

My parents were therefore running out of money five months into the general lockdown because we had been living off of their savings since the lockdown started.

Being the advocate for financial literacy that I am, I started to consider methods to financially support my parents one fateful evening. Then, after spending the entire night thinking things through, I decided to build photo and art frames to sell and turn a profit.

I've produced a ton of frames over the past two years, and here are a handful of them;

You took the jump and became a Hiver just now, so CONGRATS, be ready for a lot of reading and writing fun.

I just saw your new message in my bot feed! So I came by to say : Hi and Welcome to you new addiction. Your passions, funny or dead serious rants, brain waves and - or thoughts put into writing and a hive blog is a new way of living, but if you have questions let us on hive know. There are many hivers that will help if you ask in comments or in discord! Terminal is the biggest one for new comers.

Discord is a tip aswell. It’s where a lot of hivers talk. There is so much so all topics will have a place on the blockchain. The hivinguniverse is so diverse it’s suitable for all of us. And fun!
