Independence is an individualistic experience

I personally think to feel independence occurs naturally in our mind due to the responsibility that is attached to it, Knowing very well that it is up for you to survive in a particular area of life and the ability to make choices which comes out either good or bad are things which validate independency in a person's life.
I have had many times that I felt independent but I'm gonna be sharing few, first of all It a great time to engage in the weakly prompt on this great community #hivenaijaweakly.

To be independent is something individualistic, my experience after I moved to the city to stay with my elder brother. Few months later from when I moved to stay with him,I have been spending money on things that concerned me my clothes,foods, deodorants and every other thing I needed personally so it was a high time I started searching for a job which I later found one but the location was far from were we live but since that was the job available at the moment and me being desperate because of my financial state accepted the job. The tragedic experience started when I was totally out of cash and couldn't afford to be paying my way to the work because of the distance so I decided to pack some of my cloths to work which I will have to spend three days before coming home on midweek which is always Wednesday then prepare and leave for work the next morning, at this point I felt really independence I was responsible for my well being in another environment how I survived and took care of my self because I could only be at home with my brother on Sundays.

As a young man this was really though for me though it also help me become stronger and as a motivation to for me to face my fears I was in this position for a year before I got another job that at least closer by distance.

Independence also doesn't end by having to pay for bills and catering for your self sometimes there are some situations you find yourself which is left for you to take decisions and make the right moves. Another experience of mind is.

As a child that was brought up in an urban area one of the best ways to ok cooking was firewoods so we go to the bush to gather firewoods so it can used with cooking. When going on this journey not with any of our guardians and considering the distance we are going to trek I know that I I'm independence at the moment so anything can happen on the way which I have to be vigilant and be smart,on our way back when I'm tired and feel like just leaving the heavy firewoods behind due to the pain on my neck,back and waist I will automatically be encouraged when I see other children carrying theirs one of the reasons for doing this is to make mummy proud and happy so in situations like that I always feel very independence.

Therefore being independent is personal which everyone experience in one way or the other.
