Celebrando mi cumpleaños en la oficina [ESP/ENG]
Me encanta dejarme sorprender por la vida, no me molesta no saber qué pasará, porque tengo mi fe puesta en Dios. Sólo intento hacer lo mejor que puedo para llevar a cabo mis proyectos, desde mi creencia que me llevarán a mis metas. Al final, realmente no sé cuál será mi destino.
Y hablando de sorpresas, hoy recibí una muy grata. Ayer nos organizamos en la oficina para celebrar el cumpleaños de una colega. Mi sorpresa fue, que había una torta extra porque también festejaríamos mi cumpleaños, que fue hace exactamente un mes (23 de julio).
Para esa fecha yo estaba de vacaciones, por eso mis colegas no pudieron hacer el agasajo que acostumbramos, pero yo no pensé que lo tenían pendiente para cuando regresara.

And speaking of surprises, today I received a very pleasant one. Yesterday we organized in the office to celebrate a colleague's birthday. My surprise was that there was an extra cake because we were also celebrating my birthday, which was exactly one month ago (July 23).
At that time I was on vacation, so my colleagues could not make the celebration we are used to, but I did not think they had it pending for when I returned.

The cheese and ham bread were big and we got two per person. I only ate one and saved the other for my husband.
I had been on a refined carbohydrate and sugar diet for more than a month and today was the first time I broke it, something I let happen because I was going away for the weekend and wanted to enjoy it without having to worry about food.

Desayunamos, seguimos con nuestra jornada de trabajo y casi al mediodía fue que nos dispusimos a cantar el cumpleaños feliz. Así que fue una mañana bastante animada.
La otra cumpleañera tuvo el lindo gesto de preparar una gelatina de colores, que fue mi postre favorito del día. Como tenía tanto tiempo sin comer azúcar, todo me pareció super dulce, a excepción de esa rica gelatina de colores.
We had breakfast, continued with our work day and almost at noon we were ready to sing happy birthday. So it was quite a lively morning.
The other birthday girl had the nice gesture of preparing a colorful jelly, which was my favorite dessert of the day. Since I hadn't eaten sugar for so long, everything seemed super sweet to me, except for that rich colored jelly.
Los viernes siempre estamos de buen humor porque es la puerta al fin de semana, pero como verán, hoy fue un día que disfrutamos de manera particular, celebrando con comida y postres.
