Celebrando el día del niño en la piscina [ESP/ENG]
La alegría de los niños es magia que ilumina cualquier lugar. Donde hay risas, hay niños saludables y padres que pueden simplemente disfrutarlos. Si sólo tenemos esto, tenemos más que muchísimas personas; es bueno valorarlo.
Hoy se celebró el día del niño en la escuela de natación en la que está mi hija, ella tiene 16, pero la invitación era para todos los atletas, sin importar la edad.
Cuando ella se estaba preparando para ir a la piscina, su hermano, que es un avión, le dice: ¿Por qué tu vas a celebrar el día del niño si ya eres grande? Y mi hija, que no se queda atrás, nos preguntó a su papá y a mí, si para nosotros ella era grande.
Obviamente para nosotros los padres, generalmente nuestros hijos siempre serán nuestros niños, nuestro más preciado tesoro, así que le dijimos que ella es nuestra princesita hermosa.
Problema resuelto, con mucho orgullo ella le dice a su hermano ¿Ves? Sigo siendo pequeña.

Today was Children's Day at the swimming school my daughter is in, she is 16, but the invitation was for all athletes, regardless of age.
When she was getting ready to go to the pool, her brother, who is an airplane, said to her: Why are you going to celebrate Children's Day if you are already a big boy? And my daughter, who is no slouch, asked her dad and me if she was big for us.
Obviously for us parents, our children will always be our children, our most precious treasure, so we told her that she is our beautiful little princess.
Problem solved, with much pride she says to her brother See, I'm still little.
Llegamos a la piscina y me pareció que estaba particularmente hermosa, le habían quitado las carrileras que están en los días de entrenamiento y el agua tenía ondas, supongo que por la brisa.
Me senté en un taco de salida, de esos que están en ambos extremos de la piscina y tomé la foto que está en la imagen anterior.

Los niños y jóvenes entraron al agua y jugaban con entusiasmo. Aunque ellos entrenan de lunes a viernes, supongo que no es igual estar allí sólo por diversión.
Mi momento favorito fue cuando vi que uno de los entrenadores estaba lanzando a las niñas y niños a la piscina, él los sujetaba por los brazos, los elevaba y los hacía volar hacia el agua. Fue muy cómico porque al minuto tenía una larga cola de infantes esperando ser lanzados al agua.

We arrived at the pool and I thought it was particularly beautiful, they had removed the lanes that are on training days and the water had ripples, I guess because of the breeze.
I sat down on a starting block, one of those that are at both ends of the pool and took the picture that is in the image above.
At that moment I thought it was the closest I had ever been to that pool, normally I am behind the fences that surround it, because that is an exclusive area for coaches and athletes.
The children and young people entered the water and were playing with enthusiasm. Even though they train Monday through Friday, I guess it's not the same being there just for fun.
My favorite moment was when I saw one of the coaches was throwing the girls and boys into the pool, he was holding them by the arms, lifting them up and flying them into the water. It was hilarious because within a minute he had a long line of infants waiting to be thrown into the water.

As for my daughter, she was happy running here and there, swimming, jumping down the inflatable slide and I was happier to see her enjoying the celebration.
Meanwhile I chatted from time to time with some of the moms present. We all agreed that it is wonderful that our children are practicing this sport that is so conducive to good health.
El sol ya estaba por ocultarse y me di cuenta de lo hermosas que estaban las nubes, densas y de color gris azulado, muy diferente al tono que tienen cuando es tiempo de lluvia.
Por cierto, otra cosa genial que sucedió hoy fue que la tarde estuvo soleada. Aunque en la madrugada y en la mañana estuvo lloviendo y que los últimos días ha llovido a diario, mágicamente durante este evento el sol estuvo radiante.
Una de las mamis me decía que tantos niños orando porque no lloviera, era algo poderoso y creo que tiene razón.
