17 años desde aquel “sí” en el altar [ESP/ENG]
El tiempo pasa y muchas veces pasa inadvertido, pero cuando tenemos hijos, ellos nos hacen saber qué tan a prisa se van los años.
Con sólo mirarlos sabemos cuánto han crecido y que nosotros nos vamos quedando atrás, con la bendición de poder estar para admirarlos y para apoyarlos, de estar cada vez que nos necesiten.
Los aniversarios de bodas son otra manera de darnos cuenta que estamos envejeciendo, aunque en este caso, para mí cada año que pasa es una victoria, no todos tenemos la fortuna de despertar con la misma persona cada día a lo largo del tiempo.
Time goes by and often goes unnoticed, but when we have children, they let us know how fast the years go by.
Just by looking at them, we know how much they have grown up and that we are lagging behind, with the blessing of being there to admire and support them, to be there whenever they need us.
Wedding anniversaries are another way of realizing that we are getting older, although in this case, for me every year that passes is a victory, not all of us are fortunate enough to wake up with the same person every day over time.
Lo que se supone una fortuna, cuando esa persona comparte contigo tus alegrías y tristezas, cuando es ese apoyo incondicional que tiende su mano cuando nota que no te puedes levantar, cuando es alguien en quien puedes confiar y que no te deja atrás. Además es un padre a todo terreno.
Hace ya 17 años que mi esposo y yo nos dimos aquel "sí" en el altar, aunque siendo honesta en ese momento yo no tenía ni idea de todo lo que tendríamos que superar juntos.
Cada año de matrimonio se construye con esfuerzo y dedicación, es un trabajo de dos, pero que causa mucha satisfacción. Mirar atrás y ver lo que hemos construido, me indica que no lo estamos haciendo tan mal.
What is supposed to be a fortune, when that person shares with you your joys and sorrows, when he is that unconditional support that reaches out his hand when he notices that you can't get up, when he is someone you can trust and who doesn't leave you behind. He is also an all-around father.

Each year of marriage is built with effort and dedication, it is a work of two, but one that brings a lot of satisfaction. Looking back and seeing what we have built tells me that we are not doing so bad.

No sé que nos depara el futuro, pero sí sé lo que hemos vivido cuenta, que es algo que ya nos pertenece y que vive en nuestros corazones. Mientras tanto seguiremos viviendo un día a la vez, agradeciendo a Dios por nuestros hijos, por nuestro hogar y por el amor que nos une.
