The city of mushrooms π₯°
Happy #Fungifriday π
My contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw π€
During the Christmas holidays, I enjoyed my freedom. Since I mostly work all day, I don't really see the day..... Just a short commute to work and back home. Another job at home...
So I used my free days to walk and climb Vrsac hill.
It is the closest but also beautiful. π₯°
The days were bathed in the sun.. Well, it was spring in January.... Nature began to wake up, and the mushrooms took advantage of the good weather and made entire colonies....
I met a very large cluster turkey tail mushrooms (Trametes versicolor)
The whole stump was covered in mushrooms.... They made a whole town....I have never come across such beautifully arranged colorful mushrooms....
When roughly translated from Latin, it means "something thin, differently colored".
In Japanese, it is "kawaratake", which means "mushroom of hills and valleys (rivers)".
Chinese Jun-zhi, which would mean "colorful mushroom".
The turkey's tail is a widespread mushroom on all continents....it plays an important role in the decomposition of stumps, dry branches.....it can rarely be found on living trees...
It is active all year round, but it is most fruitful in the wetter and colder period...
Turkey tail is also a medicinal mushroom that the Chinese and Japanese like to use....
It has an anti-cancer effect, it is harvested, dried and made into tea....
This mushroom is interesting, I see it so often but I have never used it....
And very few people even know that these beauties are medicinal... Right at your fingertips for diseases that are difficult to overcome..
Velvety and colorful, they are also a decoration of the forest... A flower that lasts....
Here is the brown version and the blue one...
The blue one is more colorful and bigger.... It grows more vigorously, that's what I concluded from meeting them....
I certainly enjoyed this encounter with the city of mushrooms....π₯°
