Exploring a strange artifact - New 3D Sculpt - Work in Progress
Below you can find some different phases of a 3D sculpt I am currently working on.
I am trying to tell myself a story with it.
Exploring it like a mysterious artifact.
It resembles a figure sitting on a throne, and it is merged with it.
Like a statue of a strange king.
Maybe it is an ancient armor or a suit. I am not sure yet.
There's a big hole in a middle of it,
I wonder what might have happened there.
Is that part of a design, or something killed that character?
If it ever was alive of course.
Maybe something is missing and has to be put back there.
Like inside a machine to make it work again.
What would be it's purpose?
I guess I will find out later.

That is pretty interesting. It makes me think of a living piece of furniture. Like a royal throne that might eat you if you sit on it. Did you find your printer replacement yet? : )
Interesting. It's like a symbol, the power is consuming a person who wields it. I like it.
As for the new printer, there's a new Elegoo Mars model that will be released in about month. I will probably wait for this one.
There are two versions of it. One with a standard LCD screen and another more expensive, that use projector to cure the resin. I am not sure which of the two to go for yet, but I guess a month should be enough to make a decision :)
Yeah, that's a neat interpretation. I like how you describe it as trying to tell yourself a story. Fascinating creative process!
About the printer, I see. Well then, I'll be keeping my eyes open for some awesome creations from you this summer. Have a great week!
Un antiguo rey que por alguna razón se fusiono a su trono(? Me gusta todas las preguntas que hiciste en este post ya que te permiten divagar e imaginar muchas historias o formas de justificar lo que uno esta viendo.
I like to treat my sculpts as an archaeological items. To guess their purpose. It is a good training for imagination. I'd like to incorporate some of these stories to what I post here. Thanks for commenting :)
