Akshay Haldi Ceremony
Haldi or Hardi
The question always rises is it Haldi or Hardi?
Well the meaning is the same. In India people say Haldi but in my country Suriname we say Hardi.
Hardi is also know as kurkuma and is used for lots of health benefits.
So in our ayurveda there are lots and lots of using methods of hardi.
Here's one: Hardi is used on every Indian wedding. They mix it with coconut oil and apply it to the whole body. Hardi gives your skin a glow, but more effectively it removes al sorts of acne and dark places. Keep in mind with one time use you won't see much effect.
In this scene the groom in kneeling down. They have already applied hardi to his body and let is soak for sometime. Then the next day he has to take a bath, but water is put over his mother's head and then onto his. A little bit of this water is kept to sprinkle on the bride.
Here is a moment how they apply hardi.
You can not defend yourself! They apply the hardi everywhere they want.
Ooo and this is done by his brother or cousins wife. They have the right to do this...
