RE: Where the forest is reflected in the water!!

I have always wanted to go to Venice. It is very clean and safe to swim in. Well it was... I did some research if Venice's water is clean.

This is what google showed me:

"As of 31 Jul 2023, the water in Venice's canals is clean and not dangerous to swim in. (At least they were). The canals and waterways are regularly cleaned by the local government, picking up litter and other waste that has found its way into the water."

Ohhh so I get it, the trash has come alive now ok I get it.

"However, some critics have said that the sediment usually stirred up by boats has simply settled at the bottom, and the water is not cleaner."

Nevermind this is starting to get confusing.

"The canals have been empty of boats and water bus traffic for days, allowing the water to turn clear. It has been almost 50 years since Venice last cleaned its canals, and the dirt and the smell were beginning to get out of hand, as when any housecleaning is put off too long."

So what I have learned from google is.. never forget your gas-mask when you go to Venice! 😅 😂
