MY HOME WORKOUT
I was keeping fit before I even realized that I was keeping fit. I loved sports a lot, played football very much and did my bits with trying other kinds of sports. In my senior high school days, I got appointed as sports perfect.
As I grew older, in addition to wanting to grow muscles and look trimmed, I badly wanted to be healthy. I had witnessed too many complications that would have been avoided if the person(s) took responsibilities for their lives by opting for healthier living option. And so i began to work on myself. It did help that I have older brothers who sort of made it all easy by being invested in maintaining fitness. One of my elder brothers used to do the scariest of exercises(as i thought of them) then, he still does, and until now, I haven't gotten to trying some out. More than myself, he does his rounds in the mornings and evenings for some minutes, even hours daily. And unlike me, he never has registered at a gym. But check both our bodies, and you'll see that inspite of size difference, his body is far better toned than mine.
He was the first person who introduced me to roadwalks(early morning runs). Although it hurt my bones and joints and caused me devastating body pains the first few times,it made me feel better afterward both physically and mentally.
One of the best things I could say is that exercising and staying fit has done for me is helping reduce ill-heath rate. That older sibling of mine, as an example, rarely ever falls ill. When I started to take workouts very seriously, you know, running, push-ups, skipping, and all the others, i, too, found that it took a long time before I came down with even a fever, and it took a very short time before I felt better. Exercising is natural medicine that shakes off weakness and shakes up the body, doing some sort of proper blood pumping and detox.
Health, as they say, is wealth, and truly, it requires not so much to stay healthy and fit.
Sone months earlier, I registered at a gym not too far from my house and although I tried to be consistent in my attendance and worked hard at drilling myself, I spent less time than should be there because time factor was to be considered based on my schedule. So, i thought up something that would be beneficial to not just me but also my siblings, and we got to work.
Using cement and sand, we constructed our own lifts. I got irons for extra weight. Then we had someone construct a lift-bench, and all we did when we needed to use it was place some strong wood on it and maybe cartons to give it a little softness.
I really do not have to bother about space for these few equipment. I live in a big yard, and there's a nice little corner(well, right under a tree so i can have some tineout with nature while i workout) where the lift is kept.
In addition, I got dumbells. They cost an amount but are worth it. The dumbells I use for leg push-ups, too. For the dumbell, it's very small in size(and heavily packed), so small that a child would think of it as a lift that was appropriate for his size and age. I could easily place them under my bed and they would not be in view nor seem to be cluttering my space at all. It's just as minimalistic as I like!
And since I mostly work out from home, I don't have to bother about owning fancy trackers as I could do my rounds, waering just a tug and being topless. For when I make my road jogs, I have my running boots and a few track suits which I wear interchangeably. That works fine for me, and so far hasn't gotten in the way of my minimalist lifestyle. To state the obvious, it has helped me stay fit with very little cost since I do these things from home, using what I have and just diy-ing.
You might question how I keep every part of my body fit since it could be catastrophic to only work on the arms and disregard the legs and back. My sibling taught me some random home workouts that require no much equipment. Workouts like squatting up and down a stair, lungkicks, push-ups, squats, in addition to what i already know.
Staying fit and exercisig sure has its benefits, not just on the body but the mind too. It, unlike sleeping and tsking medication, is a fast, effective way to keep the mknd/head decluttered and sane. And i can say with all conviction that i am reaping bountifully from my very little effort at doing just that. You can say that i am killing two birds with a stone -building my muscles and maintaining fitness.
So it's basically all I do everyday and they're effective, that's in addition to eating healthy, staying hydrated and playing football which sort of helps break my body down(in a good way) and keep me light.
That's it for my entry to the Kiss #130 prompt.

You get my point.
Staying fit is necessary to improve living
I find you being able to think up, making a block-weight very interesting and brilliant. This is very economical and a sure way to meet your fitness targets since you can combine using your equipment and doing regular exercises to work on every part of your body and stay fit/healthy. That's a smart one. Good job
The whole development and innovation is helpful. It's a sweet relief sort of. It does the job and more for me and that's what matters.
Thank you for leaving such nice, kind comment.
I appreciate.
