CREATIVE-SUNDAY: Exquisite Sesame, Soy, Smoked Onions Potatoes Side Dish 🧅🌶🧄🥔🥘
Happy Creative Sunday friends and family of Hive Learners Community. Hope we are all enjoying with our loved 🥰 ones.
Today Sunday is a special one dedicated to our children 👦 since tomorrow 27th May, will be Children’s Day here in Nigeria 🇳🇬. And I know every country celebrates Children’s Day. Its special and very important day and date for our children. It does not matter if you don’t have any yet, but try and touch a child’s life. Children 👦 are angels 😇.
My today’s Creative Sunday Initiative is made out of love ❤️ for my children as a side dish. A meal 🥘 made from potatoes 🥔, a versatile root stem tubers you can prepare in many ways to enjoy.
Today I have made. an exquisite sesame seed, soy added and smoked onions 🧅 potatoes 🥔. Its so exquisite because its a Continental recipe many desire to enjoy as a side meal or on its own. How delicious and healthy you can imagine.
Here I take you with me to prepare this side dish step by step.
INGREDIENTS:
1 large potatoes 🥔
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1 large red onions 🧅
1 clove of garlic 🧄
Vegetable oil
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
We start by first cutting and peeling our potatoes
Step 2.
I will wash and soak the potatoes for 15 - 20 minutes to remove some starch from it.
Step 3.
After 20 minutes approximately, I will drain the soaked potatoes with a sieve. Added some salt for taste.
Step 4.
And to fry the potatoes, I will set the pan adding some vegetable oil to heat up. Then gradually add the chopped square potatoes..
Step 5.
Will fry - stir the potatoes to obtain a golden brown and crispy color before removing.
Step 6.
Next is we go ahead to roast the sesame seeds. Stir roast it until golden brown.
Step 7.
We go ahead to fry smoke our sliced onions 🧅 and garlic with a light oil, adding pinch of salt, chili 🌶 powder, tablespoon of soy sauce.
Fry stir all together to smoke and bring out aroma.
Step 8.
Once the smoked onions is ready, I will add the potatoes into it and stir to incorporate all together.
Step 9.
Then we add our roasted sesame seeds finally stirring it under low heat to evenly inculcate the recipe together obtaining an exquisite delicious aromatic flavor of a side dish 🧅🌶🧄🥔🥘
And we serve hot with any meal of our choice. It could be beans, rice 🍚, or even pasta 🍝 . And we can also enjoy this delicious aromatic meal alone with custard, tea 🍵 or coffee ☕️ as a drink. You need to include this recipe in your kitchen roaster 💪👍guys
