Hi everybody. I'm coming back with my new post. I write about the unique beauty of Thanh Luong Pagoda. It is a spiritual tourist destination with unique architecture that many tourists visit and learn about.
Where is Thanh Luong Pagoda?
Thanh Luong Pagoda is an ancient temple in My Quang Nam village, An Chan commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province. It is famous in Nau country, because of its unique and rare beauty. This place attracts many tourists from near and far to visit and worship. A community of residents living by fishing surrounded the pagoda. The East is adjacent to the sea, the west is adjacent to the large sands. It brings peace with cool natural conditions and fresh air.
Legend at Thanh Luong Pagoda
Thanh Luong Pagoda Tuy An Phu Yen attracts visitors by the mysterious story of the statue of Quan The Am. Although the appearance is not intact, the standing position of the statue has remained the same since it was found.
According to the abbot of Thanh Luong Phu Yen pagoda - Thich Quang Ngo, on the morning of December 24, 2004, there was a statue of Quan The Am drifting into Bai Dua beach. The statue, standing and stuck between two cliffs, was discovered by fishermen and reported to the pagoda. It asked permission from the government and mobilized the force of Buddhists in the pagoda to bring the statue back through the ritual. However, manpower and strength are still impossible to move the statue back to the pagoda. When the abbot personally invited the statue back, a big wave crashed and brought the statue ashore. That makes the pagoda more attractive to tourists to visit.
What unique architecture does Thanh Luong Pagoda build?
Thanh Luong Pagoda's built with its materials are coral and coconut shells. In a far, you will see the special architecture, bringing the breath of the central island culture thanks to the skillful combination of marine coral and coconut materials. In particular, coral is a symbol of sea creatures, seashells carry the beauty of purity and high purity as the Buddhist cultural meaning.
The stone stele in front of Quan Am Linh Ung Palace at Thanh Luong Pagoda records events related to the famous Buddha statue worshiped at the temple. The statue, which drifted on the sea of Pineapple Island, not far from the temple, was discovered by fishermen and Buddhists in the area, invited to the temple in 2004. The statue is 2.2 m high and weighs 74 kg, named Nam Hai Linh Application of Quan Am.
Admire the beautiful lotus pond & Long An lake
Thanh Luong Pagoda in Phu Yen distinguishes itself from other palatial temples by its characteristic simplicity. This temple gives visitors a surprising sense of peace and tranquility. On the left-hand side of the pagoda is a fresh lotus pond under the calm sea sunshine. Every time the lotus season comes, this place gives off a pure scent, adding color to this peaceful space. In the middle of the pagoda is Long An Lake with a smiling Buddha statue and a hand sticking out of the water. This image adds sanctity and purity to this place.
