My Hot Take in IPL 2024

I really want to start by saying that I am a guy who used to love watching Cricket but it has been over 10 years that my interest in Cricket has just dropped to zero due to several reasons. But this year I am back to watching IPL matches and there is just one person behind it all and his name is

Mr Hardik Pandya

This year we have some huge controversies and the biggest of them was the heist of Captaincy that took place in a team in IPL named Mumbai Indians.

The previous captain of Mumbai Indians was Rohit Sharma who is currently the captain of India in almost all formats if that is not enough Rohit Sharma is a veteran cricketer who earned 5 IPL trophies for Mumbai Indians. So it is no secret that he has done something amazing both in IPL and for the Indian Cricket team.

But this year Mumbai Indians wanted Hardik Pandya in their team as he is a good All Rounder Player and has the capability to boost Mumbai Indians but he while in negotiations specifically asked for captaincy as a criteria for his transfer and that is what has created this massive boycott of Hardik Pandya.

In my opinion it is ok to change Captains as Mumbai Indians should look out for their Future years as sooner than later Rohit Sharma will retire but the way the Captaincy was taken was literally a hostile takeover of Mumbai Indians Captaincy and there is hardly a few people that like this decision of Mumbai Indians. If that was not enough Hardik Pandya has definitely shown some awful decisions in his Captaincy while MI lost their first two matches already.

So yeah things are definitely spicing up in the IPL and even though I feel like this chaos will calm down soon but while the chaos is in works it is fun to watch it unfold.
