Today I am going to give you some information on how to make fresh fry our way. We all love fish fry which is very well made and tastes absolutely beautiful and we all enjoyed it yesterday too. So I am going to tell you how to make it. In today's blog post, I will tell you how my mother made it.
For fish fry we used Katla species of fish. Coming from the fish market, the fish is cut into sizes and shapes for frying. After bringing him home, his mother first washed him with clean water. After washing it with clean water, mother kept it in a plate on the side.
Then my mother would add some special spices, among which I will tell you the names of the spices that I know, turmeric, salt, garam masala, red chili powder and other spices. By combining all this, mother made the masala for fish and mixed cooking oil in the masala.
And this prepared masala was applied by the mother in a beautiful way with her hand to all the fishes that she had brought. Mother seasoned them in such a way that all the properties of that masala, all the flavors would go into those fish till date. And after applying these spices, mother kept them for at least half an hour to marinate the fish as well.
After half an hour, mother put the frying pan on the gas and put cooking oil in it and after the cooking oil got a little hot, she started putting the fish in the frying pan. This fish is not deep fried when mom makes this fish. Mother cooked this fish in a nice way by keeping several gas flame medium. The reason for keeping the gas flame medium is that whatever spices are applied to the fish will block the flavor in all the fish without burning and the fish will taste good.
After the fish was ready we all started eating together and we all ended up enjoying such a beautiful tasting fish. I took a photo of a plate with cucumber and onion cut into round shapes and garnished with fish in between them and then I also ate this delicious fish with everyone.
The way mother used her traditional things, spices and tips to cook these fishes made the fish very tasty, beautiful, delicious and most importantly, very good fishes using less cooking oil, because of the less cooking oil, everything in these fishes. It has healthy properties. They held up well and didn't lose any of the properties of the fish and spices that were lost in our deep frying.

But because of my mother's traditional methods of preparing this fish, along with her old ways of cooking it, we were able to eat healthy fish fry.
