¡Hola queridos amigos! ¿Cómo han estado?? Espero que muy bien y que también hayan comido un rico postre por qué vengo a antojarlos jajaja esto lo he mencionado antes, pero sé que algunos no sabrán por qué AMO tanto ir a Kumbaya y degustar su comida, ellos son una familia portuguesa que decidió abrir un restaurante a raíz de las creaciones caseras de la señora Iolanda (chef de Kumbaya), todos le decían que cocinaba exquisito así que ella junto a su esposo e hijos abrieron el restaurante, donde encuentras comida típica de Portugal y venezolana, pero con un toque portugués, esto ha marcado la diferencia, ya que en la Isla no existía algo parecido... maravilloso no creen?

¿Como los conozco? Bueno, da la casualidad de que viven en la casa donde la manada de gatos suele esperarnos para comer a diario, así que algunas noches nos topábamos con ellos, conversábamos y pasábamos un rato agradable, ellos nos apoyan y les gustan con los gatitos, así que se creó una linda amistad, luego nos enteramos de su nuevo restaurante y una vez probamos las creaciones de la señora Iolanda, no podemos dejar de visitar este lugar al menos una vez por semana jajaja

Soy una persona dulcera, así que lo que más me tiene enamorada de Kumbaya son sus postres, aunque aún me faltan algunos por probar, de los que he degustado aquí les muestro mis favoritos, postres únicos y diferentes que no vas a probar en ningún otro lado!

I hope very well and that you have also eaten a delicious dessert because I come to crave you hahaha I have mentioned this before, but I know that some will not know why I LOVE so much to go to Kumbaya and taste their food, they are a Portuguese family who decided to open a restaurant because of the homemade creations of Mrs. Iolanda (Kumbaya's chef), everyone told her that she cooked exquisite food, so she and her husband and children opened the restaurant, where you can find typical Portuguese and Venezuelan food, but with a Portuguese touch, this has made a difference, since there was nothing like it on the island.... wonderful, don't you think?

How do I know them? Well, it so happens that they live in the house where the herd of cats usually wait for us to eat daily, so some nights we ran into them, we talked and had a nice time, they support us and like them with the kittens, so a nice friendship was created, then we learned about their new restaurant and once we tried the creations of Mrs. Iolanda, we can not stop visiting this place at least once a week hahaha.

I am a sweet tooth person, so what I am most in love with Kumbaya are their desserts, although I still have some to try, of those I have tasted here I show you my favorites, unique and different desserts that you will not try anywhere else!

Postre tarta de manzana, pensarás que es una típica tarta de manzana pero no! Tiene un toque completamente distinto, suave, cremoso, dulce, pero no empalagoso, trae rodajas de manzana caramelizada por encima y es una delicia al paladar.

Dessert apple pie, you will think it is a typical apple pie but no! It has a completely different touch, soft, creamy, sweet, but not cloying, it has caramelized apple slices on top and is a delight to the palate.

Tarta de Belém, esta si es un postre típico de Portugal pero ella suele ser redonda, pequeña y llamada pastel de Belém, la señora Iolanda quiso hacer su propia versión haciéndolo como una gran tarta, si buscas en internet Google te dirá que pocas personas en el mundo saben preparar perfectamente este postre, pues no existe una receta definitiva, más, hay variar recetas que pueden encontrar, este es uno de los postres más ricos que he probado hecho por la chef Iolanda, según se está hecho con crema de nata, lo he degustado como pastel y como tarta, ambas opciones son exquisitas.

Por último y más importante, torta tres leches al estilo portugués! A ver, yo tengo que aclarar algo, antes no me gustaba mucho la torta tres leches, era sabrosa pero no tenía nada especial, señores me he enamorado por completo de esta torta tres leches al estilo portugués, pues no es una simple torta!! Esta contiene hasta coco rayado y frutos secos, una crema extra de leche que te explota la cabeza, en sí la torta es toda una divinidad, tanto que ahora debo apartar un pedazo desde la mañana por qué al día van muchas personas al restaurante para llevarse varios pedazos, es la torta más demandada de allí, la he recomendado con amistades cercanas y todos me han dicho que les encanto, tanto que la comprarían nuevamente, no miento cuando digo que esta se ha convertido en mi torta y postre favorito, no sé ni como describirles lo bien que sabe, pero sin duda alguna quiero una torta inmensa de esta para mi cena navideña jajajaja

Mis postres los suelo acompañar de un delicioso café con leche, por ahora este es mi top de postres favoritos al estilo portugués, espero pronto traerles otro con postres increíbles!.

This one contains even shredded coconut and nuts, an extra cream of milk that explodes your head, in itself the cake is a divinity, so much so that now I have to set aside a piece from the morning because many people go to the restaurant to take several pieces a day, it is the most demanded cake there, I have recommended it to close friends and they have all told me that they loved it, so much that they would buy it again, I am not lying when I say that this has become my favorite cake and dessert, I do not even know how to describe how good it tastes, but without a doubt I want a huge cake of this for my Christmas dinner hahahaha.

My desserts are usually accompanied by a delicious coffee with milk, for now this is my top favorite Portuguese style desserts, I hope soon to bring you another one with incredible desserts!.
