Hello to all the members of this wonderful community! I never would have thought in the first months of this year that things would get so interesting in my life, and that is that, from one moment to the next, I went from being basically locked up in a house in the country, to having the possibility of going out to different places and find interesting things to do. Precisely, I come to tell you about one of these pleasant experiences, I could even assure you that it is the most special of all. Last Saturday I had the opportunity to attend a symphonic tribute to The Beatles, by the Experimental Rock Orchestra (Barquisimeto-Venezuela). It was really wonderful, since I had never attended a concert of this type and I was very curious about what it would be like. I will tell you a little about how this magical adventure was, achieved thanks to the power of friendship ✨ (it's a bit long, so get comfortable in your seats 😅).

It all started at the beginning of last week. While I was uploading a status to Whatsapp, I noticed that my friend @kimi-gon had uploaded one. I usually see her statuses as she shows off her beautiful crafts, as well as new items for her shop (because I like to buy her little things 😚). Out of curiosity, I looked at the status and found the image she shared from the Instagram of the Arena Amphitheatre, where they announced a symphonic concert tribute to The Beatles, scheduled for the weekend. They had done it last year and I remember regretting not being able to attend, so when I saw the picture on my friend's status I was like "I'm sorry x2" because again, history would repeat itself.

So nothing, I decided to continue with my life carrying that tragic feeling that I was not going to be able to do something I wanted (something to which sadly, many of us have become accustomed). However, a little spark of hope was shining inside me. The concert was only a few days away and I sat down to think about the possibilities I had to get the money to go. I thought about using part of the money from next month's rent or offering simple drawings through my networks. But both options had their drawbacks, since the concert was practically just around the corner. Despite this, I wrote "Go to the Beatles symphonic tribute" on my to-do list, as if I was really going, even when I went to my mother's house to look for clothes, I looked for my outfit to wear to the concert . It was all automatic, I don't know why I did that, but my gut is definitely a serious thing.

When I got to the residence (because the trip home was only one day), checking Instagram, I came across a new post from the amphitheater about the concert. My dramatic mode was like he agreed that he wanted to go and couldn't, so I did the most sensible thing that a lot of us usually do nowadays: Post my pain through a WhatsApp status (😆). I just uploaded the latest update of the amphitheater and put in the description of the image: "I want to go 😭". Nothing else.

To my surprise, almost immediately, a message appeared in my notification tray that changed the dramatic story of my life, with a surprisingly wonderful twist. My friend Connie asked me how much the ticket cost, because she was willing to give it to me... I had one of those moments where you feel like the whole world stops around you and you can't believe what's happening. At first I didn't want to accept, because it seemed like an abuse on my part, but my friend insisted that she wanted to give me that gift. She wanted to cry but with joy, because Connie has been very good to me in all the time we've known each other and it saddens me that I can't repay her as I wanted. To my surprise, Connie mentioned that she would pay me for a second ticket so that I wouldn't go alone, since I had mentioned that one of the reasons I didn't want to accept was because of the schedule (a girl alone at night... 😵). I decided not to battle myself anymore and accepted the gift, because I really wanted to go. The next day with great joy, as I mentioned in a previous post, I went and bought the tickets.

I had three possible candidates to go with me: My boyfriend, my sister, and a friend. I decided not to get everyone excited by telling them all at once, so I first asked my boyfriend @yugochin if he could go with me. Luckily he said yes, which would allow me to spend time with him, since we can only see each other one day a week, if that. Previously we lived together with our cat Ikki, but we had to separate because we couldn't find a new place where the three of us could be comfortable. I was very excited to spend a different night and also for my boyfriend to get out of the routine, because I know how hard he works in his current job. On Saturday, we met early and I made a special lunch. My boyfriend says that he really likes my food and misses it, so I tried to please him by cooking what he wanted. Then we got ready and went to the Sambil mall, where we ate an ice cream. When we lived together, that was one of our weekend habits, so it was like remembering those moments.

After eating the ice cream, we went out and walked to the Arena Plaza shopping center, which was relatively close to where we were. The light had gone out in that area, so we had to walk in the dark. I wasn't afraid, because I was accompanied by my boyfriend, being with him makes me feel safe... even if we both didn't see where we were walking ha ha When we arrived, it took us a while to find the area to enter the amphitheater, but we finally got there. the time the girl who sold me the tickets had told us.

Only unfortunately... it started to rain 😩 Because of that, they wouldn't let us into the concert area, as they weren't sure if the event would be postponed due to weather. While we waited for the drizzle to stop, my boyfriend and I began to contemplate some decorative structures in the shape of boats that were in the place, since the site is the "aquatic zone". According to that there is an artificial beach and swimming pools available, but at that time we could not corroborate the information.

Once the rain seemed to stop, they let us into the VIP area, which was the one they had arranged for the concert to take place.

We had to wait about an hour more for it to start (due to rain and preparations), but that didn't bother me. We were already there and my wish was to be able to listen to the performances. So we spent that time listening to the music in the background and we ate pizza, because my boyfriend was hungry ha ha but I told him to buy a small one, because in the residence he had left everything ready for dinner.

Finally the act started and I was quite happy that the singers were wearing colorful costumes. When I arrived, I felt somewhat out of place because most of the attendees were quite formal and with dark colors. I based my outfit on the movie The Yellow Submarine and on that cheerful and colorful side of The Beatles (since that was the one that caught my attention from their songs), so on that side, I felt great hehe heh Now the pictures I took of each presentation:

It was really wonderful. He thought it was going to be completely instrumental, but there were not only talented singers, but also various musicians who made beautiful performances. Without a doubt, it far exceeded my expectations, being full of surprises. The event ended almost at midnight and I can assure you that the setbacks did not spoil the magical experience at all. I am totally grateful to my friend Connie for giving me such a beautiful experience. I would have really liked to have been able to go with her, because I'm sure we would have worn an outfit to match ha ha I feel that she and I are like-minded people who, even though we are separated by distance, share our tastes and a very special friendship. Once again Connie, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart 💚

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta maravillosa comunidad! Jamás hubiese pensado en los primeros meses de éste año, que las cosas se pondrían tan interesantes en mi vida y es que, de un momento a otro pasé de estar básicamente encerrada en una casa en el campo, a tener la posibilidad de salir a diferentes sitios y encontrar cosas interesante para hacer. Precisamente, vengo a hablarles de una de estas gratas experiencias, hasta podía asegurar que es la más especial de todas. El sábado pasado pasado tuve la oportunidad de poder asistir a un tributo sinfónico de The Beatles, por parte de la Orquesta Experimental de Rock (Barquisimeto-Venezuela). Fue realmente maravilloso, ya que nunca había asistido a un concierto de éste tipo y tenía muchísimas curiosidad de cómo sería. Les relataré un poco cómo fue ésta mágica aventura, lograda gracias al poder de la amistad ✨ (está algo largo, así que acomódense bien en sus asientos 😅)

Todo comenzó a inicios de la semana pasada. Mientras subía un estado a Whatsapp, me fijé que mi amiga @kimi-gon había subido uno. Suelo ver sus estados ya que muestra sus hermosos trabajos de manualidades, así como artículos nuevos para su tienda (porque me gusta comprarle cositas 😚). Llevada por la curiosidad, miré el estado y me encontré con la imagen que ella compartía del Instagram del Anfiteatro Arena, en dónde anunciaban un concierto sinfónico tributo a The Beatles, pautado para el fin de semana. El año pasado lo habían realizado y recuerdo que lamenté no poder asistir, de modo que cuando vi la imagen en el estado de mi amiga fue como "me lamento x2", porque de nuevo, se repetiría la historia.

Así que nada, decidí seguir con mi vida llevando a cuestas ese sentimiento trágico de que no iba a poder hacer algo que quería (algo a lo que tristemente, muchos nos hemos acostumbrado). Sin embargo, una pequeña flamita de esperanza estaba brillando en mi interior. Faltaban apenas unos cuantos días para el concierto y me senté a pensar en las posibilidades que tenía para poder conseguir el dinero para ir. Pensé en usar parte del dinero del alquiler del próximo mes u ofrecer dibujos sencillos por mis redes. Pero ambas opciones tenían sus contras, siendo que el concierto prácticamente estaba a la vuelta de la esquina. A pesar de ello, anoté en mi lista de cosas por hacer "Ir al tributo sinfónico de The Beatles", como si de verdad fuera a ir, incluso cuando fui a casa de mi madre a buscar ropa, busqué mi outfit para llevarlo al concierto. Fue todo en automático, no sé porqué lo hice eso, pero definitivamente mi instinto es una cosa seria.

Cuando llegué a la residencia (pues el viaje a casa fue de sólo un día), revisando Instagram, me encontré con una nueva publicación del anfiteatro sobre el concierto. Mi modo dramático fue como que se acordó que quería ir y no podía, así que hice lo más sensato que mucho solemos hacer en la actualidad: Publicar mi dolor por un estado de whatsapp (😆). Simplemente subí la última actualización del anfiteatro y coloqué en la descripción de la imagen: "Quiero ir 😭". Nada más.

Para mi sorpresa, casi de manera inmediata, apareció un mensaje en mi bandeja de notificaciones que cambió la historia dramática de mi vida, con un giro sorprendentemente maravilloso. Mi amiga Connie, me preguntó que cuánto costaba la entrada, pues ella estaba dispuesta regalármela... Tuve un momento de esos en donde sientes que todo el mundo se detiene a tu alrededor y no puedes creer lo que está sucediendo. Al principio no quería aceptar, pues me parecía un abuso de mi parte, pero mi amiga insistió que quería hacerme aquel regalo. Tenía ganas de llorar pero de alegría, pues Connie se ha portado muy bien conmigo en todo el tiempo que llevamos conociéndonos y me entristece no poder retribuírselo como quisiera. Para mayor sorpresa, Connie me mencionó que me pagaría una segunda entrada para que no fuera sola, ya que le había mencionado que uno de los motivos por los que no quería aceptar, era por el horario (una chica sola por la noche... 😵). Decidí no batallar más conmigo misma y acepté el regalo, porque de verdad quería ir. Al día siguiente con mucha alegría, como mencioné en un post pasado, fui y compré las entradas.

Tenía tres posibles candidatos para que fueran conmigo: Mi novio, mi hermana y una amiga. Decidí no ilusionarlos a todos al contárselos de golpe, así que primero le pregunté a mi novio @yugochin si podía ir conmigo. Por suerte me dijo que si, lo cual me permitiría pasar tiempo con él, dado que sólo podemos vernos un día a la semana, si acaso. Anteriormente nosotros vivíamos juntos con nuestro gato Ikki, pero tuvimos que separarnos al no encontrar un nuevo sitio en dónde pudiéramos estar cómodos los tres. Estaba muy emocionada de pasar una noche diferente y también porque mi novio saliera de la rutina, pues sé lo mucho que se esfuerza en su trabajo actual. El sábado, nos encontramos temprano e hice un almuerzo especial. Mi novio dice que le gusta mucho mi comida y que la extraña, así que traté de complacerlo cocinándole lo que quería. Luego nos arreglamos y fuimos hasta el centro comercial Sambil, dónde comimos un helado. Cuando vivíamos juntos, ese era uno de nuestros hábitos de los fines de semana, así que fue como recordar esos momentos.

Luego de comer el helado, salimos y fuimos a pie hasta el centro comercial Arena Plaza, que quedaba relativamente cerca de dónde estábamos. Por esa zona se había ido la luz, así que tuvimos que caminar en plena oscuridad. Yo no tenía miedo, pues estaba acompañada de mi novio, estar con él me hace sentir segura... así los dos no viésemos por donde caminábamos ja ja Cuando llegamos nos costó un poco encontrar la zona para entrar al anfiteatro, pero finalmente llegamos a la hora en que nos había dicho la chica que me vendió las entradas.

Sólo que por desgracia... comenzó a llover 😩 Debido a ello, no nos dejaban pasar a la zona del concierto, pues no estaban seguros de si el evento sería pospuesto debido al clima. Mientras esperábamos a que la llovizna cesara, mi novio y yo nos pusimos a contemplar unas estructuras decorativas en forma de barcos que estaban en el lugar, pues el sitio es la "zona acuática". A según por ahí hay disponible una playa artificial y piscinas, pero a esas horas no podíamos corroborar la información.

Una vez que la lluvia pareció cesar, nos dejaron pasar a la zona VIP, que era la que habían dispuesto para que se realizase el concierto.

Tuvimos que esperar alrededor de una hora más para que diera inicio (debido a la lluvia y las preparaciones), pero a mi eso no me molestó. Ya estábamos ahí y mi deseo era poder escuchar las interpretaciones. Así que estuvimos ese rato escuchando la música de fondo y comimos pizza, porque mi novio tenía hambre ja ja pero le dije que comprara una pequeña, pues en a residencia había dejado todo listo para la cena.

Finalmente, el acto comenzó y me alegré bastante de que los cantantes llevaran trajes coloridos. Cuando llegué, me sentí algo fuera de lugar porque la mayoría de los asistentes, fueron bastante formales y con colores oscuros. Mi outfit lo basé en la película The Yellow submarine y en ese lado de The Beatles alegre y colorido (ya que eso fue la que me llamó la atención de sus canciones), así que por ese lado, me sentí genial je je Ahora las fotografías que tomé de cada presentación:

Fue realmente maravilloso. Pensaba que iba a ser completamente instrumental, pero no solamente hubieron cantantes talentosos, sino que también hubieron participaciones de músicos variados que hicieron bellísimas presentaciones. Sin duda, superó por demás mis expectativas, al estar lleno de sorpresas. El evento terminó casi a media noche y puedo asegurar que los contratiempos no arruinaron para nada la mágica experiencia. Estoy totalmente agradecida a mi amiga Connie por regalarme una experiencia tan bonita. Me hubiese gustado muchísimo haber podido ir con ella, porque estoy segura de que hubiésemos llevado un outfit a la par ja ja Siento que ella y yo somos personas afines que aunque estemos separadas por la distancia, nos une nuestros gustos y una amistad muy especial. Una vez más Connie, muchísimas gracias de todo corazón 💚
