New Partner Personality

Bookerman has been having some talks with three former WWE personalities for the next potential partnerships. One of them whom he had a few conversations with is Terri Runnels. She has managed WCW and WWE talents including The Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian, and Goldust, among others. She is also a former WWE Hardcore Champion!

Partnership with other Hive Projects

There are also potential partnership with other Hive projects where their own game tokens can be used for upgrading specific buildings assigned to them. This will provide additional sinks to their tokens.

Some possible partners mentioned include:
HiQ The Hivestyle Magazine for newspaper upgrades.
1UP-Cartel for arcades which can increase the amount of fans.
dCrops for farmers' market.
3Speak or other Hive video platforms for television stations.

Twitch AMA (January 7, 2023)

Note: This not an official summary and I may misinterpret some parts of the discussion. I included timestamps if you want to check out the actual conversation on Twitch.

Performance Centers - 00:01:43
Performance centers would be an unlockable training ground in cities. It will increase the chance of dropping freelance/ independent wrestlers. These wrestlers will be reward cards.

This feature will not be immediately available once the game goes live. This will be unlocked over time.

Asset Maintenance - 00:02:43
Everything will have some sort maintenance including facilities, gears, and wrestlers. Repairing these assets will require tokens that will be sent to the reserves which will then be used back as game rewards.

Land Stuff
00:04:55
Each land will have slots allocated for buildings. You cannot have two buildings of the same type in the same city.

City NFTs from packs will have to be staked in the game for them to be active and for players to be able to choose them.

There is no benefit in having lands near each other. Travel costs between cities within the same territory are the same regardless of how close or far you are to the other city.

There are benefits in having them in the same territories and having them in numerous territories.

A city's upgrades such as arenas, TV stations, etc. will be included with the city NFT when you sell or trade it. This will only be true if an NFT is burned in order to unlock that building. Buildings that only require an NFT to be staked will have to be rebuilt. The team has not yet released a final requirement for unlocking buildings.

Organization Bonuses - 00:06:18
Your organization bonuses will apply even if you travel into different territories and cities.

Lore Cards for Statues - 00:06:39
You will need specific lore cards for the statues that you want in your city. Bookerman citied an example that if you want a golden Titan statue, you will need gold Titan lore cards. You can also unlock statue and trophy cases, banners etc. with different requirements.

Wrestler Costs - 00:14:37
Some wrestler and manager costs will increase as they level up.

Minimal Working Product - 00:16:18
The initial game release will be a minimal working product. This means some discussed features such as promotions, NFT championships, etc. may not yet be available upon game release.

New Developers - 00:21:44
Bookerman has hired three new developers which are working on both the game release and future features. He also stated that they are not expecting any additional hires in the near future.

Promotions / Guilds - 00:30:00
A promotion is the game's version of guilds. It is the only way to make NFT championships. The promotion gets a kickback on any show that title is on or everytime it is defended. They can also pool land together which provides cheaper travel costs and lesser show cooldowns. It is also advantageous for promotions to have lands across various territories.

There is a fee to create a promotion. It can start with only one member. It's maximum capacity of members depend on the promotion's level.

Referral System and Booking License - 00:32:43
There may be a referral system for players in the future. The game may also introduce a booking license where a player will need to pay a fee in order to play the game. This will be similar to Splinterland's summoner spellbook. This may also include shadow or ghost cards.

NFT Locking - 00:37:00
An NFT locking feature similar to Splinterlands may be implemented for additional asset security.

Special Events - 00:41:40
There will be quaterly special events where anyone can join. These events will have special gameplay rulesets similar to royal rumble, survivor series, etc.
