I've recently been hanging around the BRO community. I was very impressed with how tokens like BRO and INCOME became successful. But positioning myself into them is a bit harder now since they are already established and the tokens have appreciated in value. Because of this, I was on the lookout for upcoming tokens that are still in the starting phase. And so I've stumbled upon a fairly new project that was a collaboration between the Brofund and Spinvest founders. It was a somewhat unique project because it is consisted of four tokens that are related to each other in some way.

Disclaimer: I am not an expert when it comes to this project and I am also narrating my understanding of how each token works. I might have some inaccurancies so I encourage everyone to visit the official DAB account for more information.

DBOND

I would say that DBOND is the foundation of the DAB project. It is a HIVE-backed token with each DBOND pegged to one HIVE. It has a maximum supply of 1,000,420. DBOND is distributed via public sale and the HIVE acquired from selling DBOND is powered up and delegated to selected curation accounts. DBOND can also be staked in order to get a chance to receive DAB tokens.

DAB

Between the four tokens, DAB and DBOND are the pair that have a cyclical interaction. DAB has a maximum supply of 10 billion. And despite this high number, DAB, as of now, can only be acquired through DBOND staking. And only around 24 DAB are given each day from DBOND staking. This is why the circulating supply is still very low at 15 thousand tokens.

DAB is one of the more desired tokens because it is a revenue-generating token. The curation rewards are distributed to DAB holders each day. Those who hold liquid DAB are given HIVE tokens while those who stake receive DBOND instead. So for long term play, you can hold all the DBOND and DAB tokens you receive.

CLUB

The CLUB token is basically an access token. Holders of this token are eligible to private sale of upcoming tokens. CLUB members are also entered in a weekly raffle where three winners receive DBOND tokens. But what I like most about CLUB is that members get upvoted by an exclusive curation account. The voting weight is dependent to the HIVE power delegated by the member. CLUB only has 63 circulating tokens at the moment with more to be released in the future.

The final token is RUG which I will discuss in another post. But for now, I plan to acquire as many DAB tokens as I can. DBOND can slowly be obtained over time through other means such as DAB staking and CLUB raffles. DBOND has a fixed price of one HIVE while DAB is trading very cheaply at the moment. I hope that I can stock up on DAB before it appreciates.
