Makeup Challenge #2 [SPA/ENG]

Hola, espero estén teniendo un hermoso día. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes, la idea que se me ocurrió para mi participación en la segunda semana, de un reto de maquillaje que estoy haciendo con las chicas del curso básico profesional, realizado en 27 de marzo en la ciudad de Maturín del cual hice un post en su momento. Todas aprendimos muchísimo y una de nosotras, tuvo la idea de hacer esta pequeña dinámica para fomentar la practica y la creatividad de cada una, en lo personal considero que es una buena forma de emplear nuestros conocimientos y a su vez compartir la interpretación de cada una, de una misma temática.

Hi, I hope you are having a beautiful day. Today I want to share with you, the idea that I came up with for my participation in the second week of a makeup challenge that I'm doing with the girls of the professional basic course, held on March 27 in the city of Maturín of which I made a post at the time. We all learned a lot and one of us had the idea of doing this little dynamic to encourage the practice and creativity of each one, personally I think it's a good way to use our knowledge and in turn share the interpretation of each one, of the same theme.

A mí me ha servido mucho, he logrado mantener mi mente trabajando y he tenido muchas ideas geniales desde entonces, cosas que poco a poco iré realizando y mostrándoles. En esta oportunidad, el tema del reto fue Euphoria, algo que siempre llamó mi atención pero a la vez me intimidaba un poco. Me parece un estilo que maneja una estética muy prolija y llamativa, además es muy interesante la forma en la que hacen los looks en general, a mí me resulta visualmente muy atractivo. Para ser sincera, no sé si logré captar la esencia de la temática porque fue mi primera vez, desarrollando una idea basada en esto pero más allá de si quedó acorde o no, de igual forma obtuve un resultado que me encantó demasiado.

It has helped me a lot, I have managed to keep my mind working and I have had many great ideas since then, things that little by little I will be doing and showing you. This time, the theme of the challenge was Euphoria, something that always caught my attention but at the same time intimidated me a little. It seems to me a style that manages a very neat and striking aesthetic, it is also very interesting the way they do the looks in general, I find it visually very attractive. To be honest, I don't know if I managed to capture the essence of the theme because it was my first time, developing an idea based on this but regardless of whether it fit or not, I still got a result that I loved.

Yo realmente espero que les guste, me tomó varios días armar todo esto para hacer que quedara lo mejor posible. Cómo podrán notar, hice las cosas un tanto diferentes esta vez. Usé Canva para la creación de las imágenes, las fotos fueron tomadas por mí, con la cámara trasera de mi Tecno Camon 17 Pro en la sección AI Cam, coloqué el temporizador en 3 segundos. Para la iluminación, utilicé un aro de luz de 12 pulgadas y realicé la corrección de color en Polarr.

I really hope you like it, it took me several days to put it all together to make it look as good as possible. As you may notice, I did things a bit different this time. I used Canva for the creation of the images, the photos were taken by me, with the back camera of my Tecno Camon 17 Pro in the AI Cam section, I set the timer to 3 seconds. For the lighting, I used a 12 inch ring light and did the color correction in Polarr.

La peluca que estoy usando para este look, la conseguí en Gnomos Shop y les digo sinceramente, la calidad es increíble. Yo soy amante de este tipo de cosas y ya había tenido una que otra peluca antes pero esta es diferente, es súper linda, el material es genial. The wig I'm using for this look, I got it from Gnomos Shop and I tell you honestly, the quality is amazing. Preparé la piel y empecé a realizar mis cejas la técnica de pelo a pelo. Yo tengo un kit para cejas de Salomé, usé únicamente el lápiz para rellenar y definir la forma de mis cejas, las peine las veces que fueron necesarias mientras las hacía.

I prepared the skin and started to do my eyebrows using the hair by hair technique. I have a Salome brow kit, I used only the pencil to fill in and define the shape of my brows, I combed them as many times as needed while doing them.

Luego tomé mi corrector de L.A Girl para definir dejar limpia y definida el área alrededor de las cejas. Para la corrección de las manchas, rojeces y demás, usé un correcto de Salomé. Una vez aplicados ambos correctores en las áreas deseadas, difuminé con un Beauty Blender.

I then took my L.A Girl concealer to define and leave the area around the brows clean and defined. For correcting blemishes, redness and such, I used a Salome concealer. Once both concealers were applied to the desired areas, I blended with a Beauty Blender.

En el paso anterior apliqué corrector en el área del párpado, usé un tono bastante claro para que al momento de usar las sombras, cada color se mantuviera lo más parecido posible al tono original. Empecé con azul claro, después usé lila y finalmente blanco con un ligero subtono azul. Luego difuminé la unión de cada uno de los tonos, así logré un degradado bastante delicado y sutil.

In the previous step I applied concealer on the eyelid area, I used a fairly light shade so that when using the shadows, each color would stay as close as possible to the original shade. I started with light blue, then used lilac and finally white with a slight blue undertone. I then blurred the union of each of the shades, thus achieving a quite delicate and subtle gradient.

Apliqué la base en mi rostro y difuminé con un Beauty Blender. Hecho eso, tomé el corrector de Salomé y lo apliqué en las zonas del rostro que deseaba iluminar, una vez más difuminé con la ayuda de la Beauty Blender.

I applied the foundation on my face and blended with a Beauty Blender. After that, I took the Salomé concealer and applied it on the areas of the face I wanted to illuminate, once again I blended with the help of the Beauty Blender.

Empecé a hacer el contorno mezclando dos tonos y creo que hasta el momento, es el mejor resultado que he obtenido en cuanto a tonalidades se refiere. Mi piel tiene la tendencia a lo lucir un tanto roja, con la mayoría de los tonos al momento de hacer el contorno, sobre todo en el área de la nariz. Hablando de la nariz, creo que estoy mejorando mucho al contornear esta área.

I started contouring by blending two shades and I think that so far, it's the best result I've gotten in terms of shades. My skin has a tendency to look a little red with most of the shades when contouring, especially in the nose area. Speaking of the nose, I think I'm getting much better at contouring this area.

Tomé un rubor de la marca Salomé y empecé a aplicarlo en las zonas deseada, difuminé súper bien con una brocha. Luego tomé shimmer morado, lo apliqué siguiendo el arco de mi ceja y difuminé. También tomé shimmer color cobre y apliqué un poco en los pómulos, después difuminé.

I took a Salome brand blush and started applying it to the desired areas, blending super well with a brush. Then I took purple shimmer, applied it following the arch of my eyebrow and blended. I also took copper shimmer and applied a little on my cheekbones, then blended.

Sellé todos los productos en crema con polvo traslúcido. Tomé un pincel, gel transparente (es un producto para el cabello que se usa para evitar el frizz) y lo apliqué en la zona del párpado para pegar unos corazones lilas y azules (usé unos apliques que generalmente se utilizan para decorar las uñas).

I sealed all the cream products with translucent powder. I took a brush, clear gel (it's a hair product used to prevent frizz) and applied it on the eyelid area to stick some lilac and blue hearts (I used some appliqués that are usually used to decorate nails).

Después usé unos apliques muy lindos que ya traían pegamento, inicié con un corazón y luego pegué tres círculos de mayor a menor tamaño. Para terminar este maquillaje, apliqué gloss y rímel.

Then I used some very pretty appliqués that already had glue, I started with a heart and then I glued three circles from bigger to smaller. To finish this makeup, I applied gloss and mascara.

Una vez listo el maquillaje, me coloqué la peluca, el outfit y quedé totalmente enamorada del resultado. Fue un experiencia maravillosa, finalmente tuve la oportunidad de hacer muchas cosas que quería y se sintió genial. Además tenía tiempo que no hacía una sesión de fotos como esta, me tomé el tiempo de verificar cada foto, fui variando las locaciones. Primero hice las fotos de detalle y procuré que los detalles se apreciaran en la medida de lo posible. Lo corazones que coloqué en el párpado casi no se notan pero es porque tienen un acabado traslúcido, por eso según la iluminación se notaban más o menos. En persona se veía súper cool el detalle de los corazones pero creo que dentro de todo, en las fotos se alcanza a notar.

Once the makeup was done, I put on the wig, the outfit and I was totally in love with the result. It was a wonderful experience, I finally had the opportunity to do many things I wanted to do and it felt great. I had not done a photo shoot like this for a long time, I took the time to check each photo, I varied the locations. First I took the detail shots and tried to make sure that the details were appreciated as much as possible. The hearts that I placed on the eyelid are almost not noticeable but that's because they have a translucent finish, so depending on the lighting they were more or less noticeable. In person it looked super cool the detail of the hearts but I think that in the photos you can still see it.

Aquí les dejos algunas fotos un poco más lejos, para que pueden ver mejor el outfit. Yo espero que les haya gustado tanto como a mí, me esforcé mucho en cuidar los detalles más allá del tiempo. El maquillaje lo hice hace dos días, luego me tomé el tiempo de editar e ir armando cada pieza para dar eventualmente, con el resultado que pueden ver hoy. Había pasado mucho tiempo desde que me ponía diseñar de lleno y como resultado casi no dormí casi. Anoche hice las imágenes de los pasos, empecé con una idea que me parecía muy chévere, le dediqué varias horas y cuando terminé... Se me ocurrió una idea que me pareció mucho mejor y en ese mismo momento, empecé a hacer todo desde cero porque así soy pero me gustó mucho como quedaron al final.

I did the makeup two days ago, then I took the time to edit and put together each piece to eventually give you the result you can see today. It had been a long time since I started designing and as a result I almost didn't sleep. Last night I made the images of the steps, I started with an idea that I thought was very cool, I spent several hours and when I finished... I came up with an idea that seemed much better and at that very moment, I started to do everything from scratch because that's the way I am but I really liked the way they turned out in the end.

Yo quedé súper contenta con el resultado y creo que se nota, hablo del contenido que traje en esta oportunidad para ustedes.
