Rising star weekly update with a very Christmas flavour

Introduction

We thought we would do a weekly update on what we are up to and how we are doing on Rising Star and also with any news that has been happening. The game is always developing so there is usually something to chat about! Lots to catch up on this week with the many new seasonal event missions and cards!

News

So a new seasonal event this year which is a little different a Christmas crafting event, this is a new kind of special event and it is going to be hard to get all the crafting parts to make all the cards! Apparently it will be open again next Christmas, so if you don't get them now you will be having to wait a while year!

You can do the mission in the crafting tab:

Then craft once you have the part you need:

Now lots of nice things to make, what makes these different from other crafting things is they come with fans!

Now if that was not enough there is also a new card in packs which can be blended to make an animated one! Yes it is the Big Guy!

This is the season that keeps on giving, because on top of those 2 things you can also do the new Christmas mission with a chance to find one of the 2 new instruments. These again can be blended to make a special animated one, you need 10 instruments and a fix it card to make them though.

Our progress so far

Well so how are we doing you may ask! We are still currently in 18th position on the leader board. We are not moving forward but do have a plan to get us back in the top 15 so watch this space!

The Stick Up Boys tip for the week

This week our tip for newbies is that this is a game all about time. The idle missions all have different times, there is only 24 hours in a day! So how do you plan your missions? I know people on hive that set alarms and things like that, but you have to come up with your own strategy. We tend to do short missions when we are at our PC and longer ones when we are away. So you need to think about how to maximise your time. Rising Star is a lifestyle not a game.....
