Rising Star update and a little tip!
Introduction
We thought we would do a weekly update on what we are up to and how we are doing on Rising Star. Went away for 3 nights so have not been so active in the last week. However while I was gone there were many introductions to the shop!
You can now get accessories with you avatar! Which is very cool and I am sure all of these things will be expanding. There has been lots of chat in the discord and lots of ideas coming which is always good to see!
Also don't forget at some point in the next 4 days we are going to drop 50k Starbits on anyone wearing a SUB mask! You can see the post we did here:
Our progress so far
We are currently in position 16th on the leader board. I think due to inactivity for 3 days we dropped a rank. We have new cards day coming soon and we will open a lot of packs so hopefully that will be enough to get us back in 15th
Favourite card for the week
Every week we will highlight our favourite card for the week. This week it is the Monstar Truck. Not only does it have a pun in the name and a musical reference in the description, who doesn't want to drive a Monstar truck through traffic?
The Stick Up Boys tip for the week
This week our tip for newbies is if you wanna get involved in Raves do a few of the Record signing missions, you will soon get some cards and then be able to make a difference, also those cards generally sell for good prices especially if you get a legendary one!
Our NFT records in the game
As musicians one of our favourite things is having our records in the game! You can buy our records as well as stake on them. This is an amazing thing for artists to get more exposure for their music and earn a few starbits. It is also a brilliant way for you to support artists on the blockchain!

I like the energy that you are going to climb the leaderboard to 15th position, that is cool thought, getting accessories with avatar is superb, a star never stop rising.
I was looking to add a guitar to my avatar, but now understand I need to do all the daily achievements a few times to qualify for that. More stuff to do :)

It seems like THEMARKYMARK is dealing with some personal drama and mental issues, which might be causing them to spam us and others with baby pics, GIFs, and questionable content he's been doing the same for years. The fun doesn't stop there, as this seems to be a recurring theme with multiple online personas. The real question is, do we want to trust these drama-magnets with our hard-earned funds or any significant influence on Hive?
On Hive a significant issue exists with automatic upvotes consistently rewarding the same individuals day in and day out
We want to address the issue of downvoting. It has caused pain to many people, and we want to make sure it doesn't happen again reply to @jacobtothe
