The group is ready.

Today we relaxed at the hotel waiting for the rest of the group that arrived in the afternoon.

The hotel has a nice spa with swimming pool, gym, Turkish bath, sauna and hot and cold water tubs.

Despite the hot and damp face outside, the air conditioning (crazy) that keeps the hotel still made the hot tub attractive to me.

We also started tasting the local first courses: one of noodles with seafood and one of rice noodles always with seafood. I didn't think I could like them so much. For the first time I found myself with rich dishes, in the sense that there was a lot of fish inside and not two or three pieces as usual.

The group is now fully booked. There are eight of us, of which I am the only man. The blessed among women (I hope).

This allows me to have a small advantage: I have a room all to myself, and twice as long to get ready. In short, a nice upgrade.

Today we met a little bit and they don't look bad. But I can't wait to start the journey to deepen my knowledge and start visiting the first temples!

Oggi ci siamo rilassati in hotel in attesa del resto del gruppo che è arrivato nel pomeriggio.
L’hotel ha una bella spa con piscina, palestra, bagno turco, sauna e vasche di acqua calda e fredda.
Nonostante fuori faccia caldo e umido, l’aria condizionata (folle) che tiene l’hotel ha reso comunque attraente per me la vasca di acqua calda.

Abbiamo iniziato anche ad assaggiare i primi piatti locali: uno di noodles con frutti di mare e uno di spaghetti di riso sempre con frutti di mare. Non pensavo potessero piacermi così tanto. Per la prima volta mi sono trovato con dei piatti ricchi, nel senso che c’era parecchio pesce dentro e non due o tre pezzi come al solito.

Il gruppo ora è al completo. Siamo in otto, di cui io l’unico uomo. Il beato tra le donne (spero).
Questo mi permette di avere un piccolo vantaggio: ho una stanza tutta per me, e il doppio di tempo per prepararmi. Insomma, una bell’upgrade.

Oggi ci siamo conosciuti un po’ e non sembrano male. Ma non vedo l’ora di iniziare il viaggio per approfondire la conoscenza e iniziare a visitare i primi templi!
