My dCrops Breakeven Point / Il mio punto di pareggio su dCrops [ENG/ITA]

The second game I was exposed to when I arrived on Hive was dCrops. I was attracted by its simple and rustic look. It seemed like a more relaxed game, more in line with my tastes. I invested part of my rewards from blogging activity twice in the game. In fact, I bought NFTs of land and seeds for about as well as some CROP tokens for about 130 HIVE.
It may seem like little today, at the current exchange rate they are about $23-25, but I invested them when HIVE was worth much more.
I thus got hold of 112 Seeds and 22 slots of land to cultivate. These are to cover all four seasons of the game.

My primary goal has always been to recover the investment made. Today, finally, I succeeded, but it was not easy. It took dedication, intuition, analysis and a bit of luck.

The recovery occurred through two activities:

• Trying to do the seasonal missions, which provide boxes in which I can find NFTs of materials;
• Converting the vegetables into share points or selling them directly to obtain CROP.

The first point is where the luck component came into play. The NFTs in the boxes were introduced with the release of the BETA cards and especially at the beginning there was a strong demand and a poor supply, so they were sold at a great price. This allowed me to earn a lot from the effort of completing the seasonal missions. Unfortunately, however, the introduction of the BETA cards also expanded the range of missions to these new cards and having never bought them, I soon found myself in difficulty carrying them forward and when the NFTs started to lose value, I stopped doing them.

The second point is where intuition and analysis came into play. For almost a year I played with little effort. I planted the seeds, harvested the vegetables and that was it. I thus accumulated quite a few, almost 20,000 Shares points. From about the beginning of the year I started to analyze the trend of the conversion rate of Shares points into CROP seeing that it is positioned around 0.33 CROP per Share.

Similarly, I also analyzed the CROP/shares price of vegetables on the market and I noticed that some are positioned in line, while others are higher. So I started selling the vegetables that had a higher price on the market, while I converted the aligned ones into Shares Points.
All this thanks to a lot of patience and an excel file.

Today I finally recovered everything I had invested in the game, that is 130 Hive. This makes me much more relaxed in playing dCrops and I know that I can also earn something more because I still have some vegetables to sell on the market and the season is not over yet and I could get some CROP from the shares I converted.

I also got a bonus from all this. Over time, the value of my assets (almost all ALPHA) has increased. My NFTs that I bought at 130 HIVE are now worth just under 300 HIVE on the market. It seems like a nice prize to support those who have believed in the game up to now.

@dCrops is currently the only game on Hive where I have broken even and am earning. From now on I will continue to play and sell vegetables more consistently. The goal is to reach 25,000 CROP power to be able to benefit from the Holding Rewards and the Daily Spin. There are several ways to achieve this goal, but I'll tell you about them another time.

Il secondo gioco che a cui mi sono esposto quando sono arrivato su Hive è stato dCrops. Mi aveva attirato il suo aspetto semplice e agreste. Sembrava un gioco più rilassato, più in linea con i miei gusti. Ho investito parte delle mie reward dall'attività di blogging per due volte all'interno del gioco. Ho infatti acquistato NFT di terreni e semi per circa oltre a qualche token CROP per circa 130 HIVE.
Può sembrare poco oggi, al cambio attuale sono circa 23-25$, ma io li ho investiti quando HIVE valeva decisamente di più.
Mi sono così accaparrato 112 Semi e 22 slot di terreno da coltivare. Questi per coprire tutte e quattro le stagioni di gioco.

Il mio primario obiettivo è sempre stato quello di rientrare dell'investimento fatto. Oggi, finalmente, ci sono riuscito, ma non è stato facile. Sono serviti dedizione, intuizione, analisi e un po' di fortuna.

Il recupero è avvenuto attraverso due attività:

• Cercando di fare le missioni stagionali, che forniscono casse al cui interno posso trovare degli NFT di materiali;
• Convertendo gli ortaggi in punti shares o vendendoli direttamente per ottenere CROP.

Il primo punto è quello dove ha giocato la componente fortuna. Gli NFT nelle casse sono state introdotto con l'uscita delle carte BETA e soprattutto all'inizio c'era una forte domanda e una scarsa offerta, per cui si vendevano ad un ottimo prezzo. Questo mi ha permesso di guadagnare molto dall'impegno di portare a termine le missioni stagionali. Purtroppo però, sempre l'introduzione delle carte BETA ha ampliato il ventaglio di missioni anche a queste nuove carte e non avendole mai comprate, mi sono ben presto trovato in difficoltà a portarle avanti e quando gli NFT hanno iniziato a perdere valore, ho smesso di farle.

Il secondo punto è dove hanno giocato intuizione e analisi. Per quasi un anni ho giocato con scarso impegno. Piantavo i semi, raccoglievo gli ortaggi e stop. Ne ho così accumulati parecchi, quasi 20.000 Shares point. Da circa inizio anno ho iniziato ad analizzare l'andamento del tasso di conversione dei punti Shares in CROP vedendo che si posiziona intorno a 0.33 CROP per Shares.

Allo stesso modo ho anche analizzato il prezzo CROP/shares degli ortaggi sul mercato e ho notato che alcuni si posizionano in linea, mentre altri sono superiori. Ho cosi iniziato a vendere gli ortaggi che avevano un prezzo superiore sul mercato, mentre quelli allineati li convertivo in Shares Point.
Tutto questo grazie a tanta pazienza ed un file excel.

Oggi ho finalmente recuperato tutto quello che avevo investito nel gioco, cioè 130 Hive. Questo mi rende molto più sereno nel giocare a dCrops e so che posso anche guadagnare ancora qualcosa perché ho ancora degli ortaggi da vendere sul mercato e la stagione non è ancora finita e potrei ottenere qualche CROP dalle shares che ho convertito.

Ho ottenuto anche un bonus da tutto questo. Nel tempo, il valore dei miei asset (quasi tutti ALPHA) è aumentato. I miei NFT che ho comprato a 130 HIVE ora sul mercato valgono poco meno di 300 HIVE. Mi sembra un bel premio per sostenere chi nel gioco ha creduto fino ad ora.

@dCrops al momento è l'unico gioco su Hive dove ho raggiunto il pareggio e sto guadagnando. Da ora in poi procederò a giocare e vendere gli ortaggi con maggiore costanza. L'obiettivo è quello di raggiungere i 25.000 CROP power per potere beneficiare delle Holding Rewards e della Daily Spin. Ci sono diverse strade per raggiungere questo obiettivo, ma ve le racconto un'altra volta.
