Splinterlands Town Hall Recap and 50 SPS Giveaway

This was a town hall that some might have skipped. It ended early and missed a lot of the big names. No eye candy other than @weirdbeard is looking good. I hope he is cool with my thumbnail. If you comment below something that doesn't just spam you got a shot to win the 50 SPS. I am hoping to give away more later.

What do you guys think about movie charters joining the game? I like the idea of a special pack for us to get in the chest.

I'm really looking forward to all the changes. Personally, I feel that it's a move in the correct direction. I'm not too sure about having up to 3 different rulesets as a counter-bot measure though. It'll only slow them down for awhile.

Not sure about the 3 rulesets. Where does it stop 4 or 5 ruleset?! If feels like we need to buy every card for every niche type of combo ruleset. Not sure if it makes the game any more fun tho.. IGN: @hodlonius

3 different rule sets doesn't really affect bots. It might affect them for a few days but, in the long run it's irrelevant. But it's a positive change for the game adding for options.

In my opinion more rule sets in future will give advantage to bots, human think much slower than human.

I think three rule sets will be effective, the increase in team calculations is massive, the bot database will have to be way to big, plus the new reward card set increases that number even more.

i like any special packs, like runi, vaka and promotion cards, because they are more limited and more collection likes;)
so any extra special card is better than normal.

Adding rulesets strikes me as being more pro-bot than anti-bot. It makes the game more complex, and increases the value of statistical analysis of previous matches to determine the best teams. Good computer algorithms do statistical analysis way better than humans. As with any change, there is some lead time before new programing is implemented but after that advantage bots.

And more complex isn't always more fun. But the fun factor is something we are just going to have to wait and see on. We will know when we are playing the matches.

Had a chance of a three ruleset while using mobile app. Theres an only magic monsters and still showing some monsters without magic in selection, ended as a draw as i think we used non magic monsters. Still need an update on this patch

These three rulesets got me to use some ghost cards 😝 But I think it's good change but occurs way to ofthen imo.

I think they should just put DEC in chests to replace packs while main packs are out of print as a default. Then when the next main pack is released they swap them out and repeat! Or just do a DAO proposal to give out Riftwatchers. Which I think might actually create more sales as we get closer to the next airdrop for Riftwatchers
