Unboxing and review of the Infinix Note 40 Pro

After using my Redmi note 11 for almost two years, I decided it was time to get a replacement. The phone was already in bad shape. After falling from my hand while in the toilet, I had to replace the screen and then it was pretty much downhill from there. Plus, I saw an unboxing video from @asgharali. Anyhoo. I did an unboxing of the phone, a little short review, so I thought I'd do a highlight post of the key features and why you should consider this phone if android phones are your thing and if you are planning a replacement or something.

The phone has a really cool pack. Comes with a neat ten wats wireless charger. It supports reverse charging. Comes with an 8gig + 8gig virtual RAM and a 256 gig ROM. That should be just about enough to hold most stuff. Helio g99 ultimate processor. 108mp camera. A wireless phone protector and a screen protector also. Thats pretty nice.

KEY FEATURES

  1. Wireless charging - the most obvious and coolest key feature in this device is the wireless charging ability. The phone comes with a wireless magpad which can charge the phone in about two hours plus. It also has an amazing reverse charging ability where you can charge other phones both wirelessly and wired. Pretty cool right?!

  2. IR blaster - This is probably the main reason I splashed the cash. Infrared has been mostly common with Redmi devices, but I guess Infinix decided to try the feature. With the IR blaster you can control most devices, making your phone serve as a universal remote. Awesome stuff.

  1. 70 Wats super fast charger adapter - I'm not fan of fast charging to be honest. I think it damages the battery in a long run, but this device comes with a power house that can juice up your device to a hundred percent in less than 45 mins. Insane. Another key feature with the charging is that you can change the charging mode; low temp, to protect the battery but charge slower. Smart, charges intelligently and fast in medium temperature. Hyper, peaks the charging speed and could make the phone overheat. Ideally, the smart mode is fine but when you need to charge quickly while on-the-go, then the hyper would make sense.

  2. Bypass charging - this is a really important development for gamers and heavy users like me. It's simple, while gaming or using your device when it's charging; you can choose to bypass the battery and go straight to powering the motherboard, thereby causing the phone not to heat up as most devices do while charging and using. I personally think that's brilliant to be fair.

Ah well, that's pretty much it. For me, these are the most notable features on the device. Other than the fact that it's a bit pricey when you compare it to it compatriot, the Infinix Note 40, with just a couple difference. So, yeah, if you want to get an android, this is a pretty decent choice. I think it goes for $300 or there about. Anyhoo, thanks for reading. Have a good one.
