A Much Needed Outing - Also Food Photography
The year is fast coming to an end and what a year it's being. I went from being completely stressed out in the house, to a camp to a very serene place, a seminary. A place I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd ever stay. A place that has rekindled old flames (A story for another day). The boys went on Christmas break a few days ago and as staff, we were required to stay behind for a few days before our break. We finally got relived of work yesterday and I had earlier planned to go out and treat myself. I went with my colleague, my boss actually.
We went to a familiar eatery. Well at first our plan was to basically go all around the city, well not all around the city, just the buzzing part. We wanted to get a few things and get a feel of the hustle and bustle just before we depart to our original place of residence. We decided to stop at this eatery. It has fast become my favorite spot in the city for a number of reasons, so going there was a no-brainer.
One of the reasons I love visiting this eatery is that it's not always packed with people. I know it's what every establishment wants but I like that space and emptiness. It's like no one has an eye out for you. They also seem to be getting the Christmas spirit going. The balloons are not much but they give that sense of celebration and I liked how colorful it made the whole place look.
My friend ordered their famous Jollof rice and chicken to match. He also added a mix of Fried rice and plantain. I also got the same but added beans to it. Beans is life. I started my food photography from there. Xd.
I felt eyes all over me but I didn't care. It has being quite a while I did food photography. That sweet close-up shot of different dishes that make you salivate.

Been up to my elbows in mummified mice and dirt taking up my future bedroom floor🤣 at the end of the day I shower ,beer , sleep. I don't even have the energy to try and grab the missus. Almost done with the dirty stuff so I'll feel more in the mood then 😜
