How would you like to meet my plants? 🌸🌷 Plants on the Balcony 💐
Hello.
We have come to the end of the stage of introducing my plants. Today I will tell you about my plants that I positioned on my balcony. First of all, I would like to talk a little about my balcony so that you can see how my plants grow. Our balcony was an open balcony, but we had it closed with the windows last summer. Thus, it became an area that served as a greenhouse for plants. Of course, there are not only plants in it, there is a small bench to sit on. I can sit there with a coffee and watch the outside.
First of all, I would like to start by introducing you to the most favorite of my plants. The String of Pearls you see is 2 years old. It was a tiny seedling when I first bought it, now it's huge and blooming. If you are growing from this plant, I want to give a clue. Since the plant is rooted in the soil by crawling, be sure to put the growing branches into the soil at the bottom of the pot before hanging them. After the bottom of the pot is filled, it will grow and sag much more quickly.
It stands in a position that receives the noon and morning sun. Since the glass refracts the direct sunlight, it does not harm it. According to the rumors, it shouldn't be over watered, but we water it every 2 days and it hasn't had any problems so far. Since the heat of the sun dries the soil, the water we give does not harm it. If you are looking at a place that does not receive much sun, be sure to water less. By the way, before it got this big, we kept it in front of the glass in our kitchen. If you do not have space in this way, you can also enlarge it in front of the glass. As you can see, when it sunbathes well, flowers bloom similar to cotton.
Crassula Ovata is used as a luck and money plant in my country. Who would believe that I made this plant from a single leaf? As I mentioned, I grew it by sinking a single leaf into the soil and made it the size you see in the picture. It develops very well in a light-exposed area. You should also water it when the soil is completely dry.
Schlumbergera Truncata; Because it blooms on New Year's Day, it is known as thanksgiving flower, Christmas plant, Christmas cactus among people. Although we have already passed the New Year's Eve, it continues to bloom as you can see.
The plant, which is in a basket-shaped earthen pot, is the full round type of Senecio Rowleyanus plant. It will look very beautiful when it grows and hangs in this pot.
One of my mother's geraniums is also located here. It's been a long time since this geranium bloomed, even now its flowers are about to fall. A type that blooms in layers.
Aunt Hatice, whom I mentioned in my article recently, gave this sweet Pelargonium Peltatum plant. There are many kinds of flowers and geraniums in his garden. Every time I go to the market, I stop by the garden and drink a cup of coffee. Flowers always enchant me. From time to time, he gives me the branches that break in this way by planting them. What a sweet woman.
The last flower on my balcony is Mesembryanthemum Roseum, which I planted in a hanging pot outside. Here, it is popularly referred to as the Persian Carpet. When I first bought it, I thought that my plant was dead when its branches started to become dry and hard after planting, but when I learned that its structure was like this, I was relieved. It dries up completely in the winter, and even the branches may disappear completely, but if you keep it in its pot, you will see that it will come to life again in the summer season.
Plants in the Downstairs Guest Room
I brought many of the plants whose pot and soil will be changed this week. I almost forgot to show you them.
My Kolyos and Begonia Maculata plants are still very new, but since their soil is old soil, I need to change them as soon as possible. So they will grow up in a healthy way.
Another plant whose name I do not know. It has grown quickly, but its growth has slowed this summer. I think it's time for the soil to be renewed, so I think its growth has slowed down.
The violets you see belong to my mother. My mother put them here, I think it's time for them to change their lands.
These are the plants I rooted in a vase to give to my neighbors who come to my house if they want them. There will be a few more plants to be added here.
While I was taking these pictures, the eyes of the most beautiful flower in my house were on me. I did not want to end my article without sharing his photo with you.
We have come to the end of the series of getting to know my plants. Thanks to my mother, my love for plants is growing. My only fear is that my house will turn into a botanical garden. It looks like my plants will continue to multiply as time goes on. If it grows, maybe I will share my updated plants here next year.
Take care of yourselves.
love.
