While I was walking through a small town in northern Italy today I saw a car display in a square. This caught my attention right away.
The car was an MG, i.e. a Morris Garages. A well-known brand in Italy, but not very widespread.
I managed to take several photos at a time when there were few people.
The name of this car is MG4 Electric, and it is a new electric car produced by the English company founded by William Morris, or MG.
From some information that I have learned it seems that the base price is around 30,000 euros.
Technical data:
51 kWh battery
125 kW rear electric motor
engine with 250 Nm of torque
acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds
maximum speed of 160 km/h
a range of up to 350 km in the WLTP cycle.

Mentre passeggiavo per un paesino del nord italia oggi ho visto l’esposizione di un'autovettura in una piazza. Questo ha attirato subito la mia attenzione.
L’autovettura era un MG, ovvero una Morris Garages. Un marchio ben conosciuto in Italia, ma non molto diffuso.
Sono riuscito a scattare diverse foto in un momento in cui c’era poca gente.
Il nome di questa autovettura è MG4 Electric, ed è una nuova macchina elettrica prodotta dalla casa inglese fondata da William Morris, ovvero la MG.
Da alcune informazioni che ho appreso sembra che il prezzo base si aggiri attorno ai 30.000 euro.

Very expensive car but looking very attractive. The repair and maintenance costs must be quite high!
I couldn't tell you how much it might cost to maintain or repair this car. The price is high, but today electric cars cost a lot. I would add that this price is not even that excessive when compared to other similar electric cars
Many people here regretted buying EV! The repair costs are very high!

Non ho mai provato la guida di un'auto elettrica. Da quello che so sono molto scattanti. Dovrebbero essere divertenti.
Una vettura totalmente elettrica non l’ho mai guidata neanche io. Se possiamo considerare una macchina elettrica una macchina ibrida che va in elettrico allora posso dire che l’ho guidata. Nel tempo si tende più a badare al risparmio che andare veloce e secondo me questo aumenta anche la sicurezza sulle strade.
