I took a look at some news about the cryptocurrency world and analyzed the performance of some cryptocurrencies.

1-USA: Ripple wins the lawsuit

The legal battle between Ripple and the SEC is, in my opinion, one of the most popular actions among the legal battles discussed in the cryptocurrency world.
In the end the case is closed and Ripple comes out clean even if the legal battle seems to have cost Ripple 150 million dollars to defend itself from this government action. Today, however, we can definitively say that this lawsuit started in 2020, is closed and that Ripple has prevailed in its dispute with the regulatory authority. From what I understand it seems that the latest events clarify the facts by definitively dropping the charges and freeing Ripple from any liability.
Brad Garlinghouse expressed his pride in the fact that the company has shown determination in tackling this lawsuit against the SEC and says that this action will help define the future direction of the cryptocurrency industry.

Personal conclusions

I believe that the Ripple vs. SEC lawsuit is the most well-known lawsuit in the cryptocurrency sector. I still remember when Coinbase, in 2020, sent the communication that it would block Ripple transactions, a token included in the list of cryptocurrencies managed by Coinbase. Now Ripple is freeing itself from a big lawsuit that cost money and time, but this victory opens the way to the wide world of altcoins. From here on, the world of traditional finance and the world of crypto finance will begin to mix more and more.

FARTCOIN, as you can also guess from the name, is a meme coin, a project that runs on the Solana blockchain. In the last 7 days, this crypto has increased by +77%, demonstrating that despite a weak market, meme coins still attract many investors. To date, we can attribute Fartcoin's success to its humorous approach to the blockchain. La battaglia legale tra Ripple e la SEC è, secondo me. una delle azioni più popolari tra le battaglie legali discusse nel mondo delle criptomonete.
Alla fine il caso è chiuso e Ripple ne esce pulita anche se la battaglia legale sembra che sia costata a Ripple 150 milioni di dollari per difendersi da questa azione governativa. Oggi però possiamo definitivamente dire, che questa causa iniziata nel 2020, è chiusa e che Ripple ha avuto la meglio nel suo contenzioso con l’autorità di regolamentazione. Da quello che ho compreso sembra proprio che gli ultimi eventi chiariscano i fatti facendo decadere definitivamente le accuse e liberando Ripple da ogni responsabilità.
Brad Garlinghouse ha espresso il suo orgoglio per il fatto che l’azienda ha dimostrato determinazione nell’affrontare questa causa contro la SEC e afferma che questa azione contribuirà a definire la direzione futura del settore delle criptomonete.

Conclusioni personali

Credo che la causa Ripple contro SEC sia la causa più conosciuta nel settore delle criptomonete. Ricordo ancora quando Coinbase, nel 2020, mandò la comunicazione che avrebbe bloccato le transazioni di Ripple, token inserito tra la lista delle crypto gestite da Coinbase. Ora Ripple si libera di una grossa causa che ha costato soldi e tempo, ma questa vittoria apre la strada all'ampio mondo delle altcoin. Da qui in poi il mondo della finanza tradizionale ed il mondo della crypto finanza inizieranno a mischiarsi sempre di più.

FARTCOIN, come si può anche intuire dal nome è una meme coin, progetto che gira su blockchain Solana. Negli ultimi 7 giorni questa crypto ha fatto un +77% dimostrando che nonostante un mercato fiacco, le meme coin attirano ancora tanti investitori. Ad oggi il successo di Fartcoin lo possiamo credo attribuire al suo approccio umoristico nel campo della blockchain. L’incredibile performance degli ultimi 7 giorni ha permesso a questa crypto di entrare nella top 100 della classifica di Coinmarketcap.

Il token WLD ha fatto quasi un -90% in un anno. Worldcoin è un progetto blockchain che si basa sul sistema delle criptovalute e dell’identità digitale. Il progetto è stato lanciato nel 2021 ed è stato creato da Sam Altman (CEO di OpenAI), Alex Blania e Max Novendstern. Per ora sia la performance mensile che annuale risultano negative.
